This hand caused me to bubble in the $99 rebuy on VC.  Now the thing thats been bothering me is that should I, knowing that irush likely has AJ or AQ, flat called the raise preflop and push on a non-ace flop.  There was 11 left and top 9 paid.  The player irush is a calling station, and AJ should have been the easiest fold in the world here for all his chips but I knew he was likely to call if I went all in.  Of course I was happy with the call but is the flat call and push on flop a better tournament strategy in this situation?

I think you did the right thing here. Just got done over by a muppet. Not sure how he can call your reraise with AJ. If he's not dominated by AA, AK or AQ, then he's still in hot water v JJ, QQ, or KK.

It's okay saying that you know he has AQ or AJ, but I see no reason why he can't have a variety of other hands. Therefore, if you run becuase you see an ace flop, you could still be folding the best hand. Also, why give him a chance to fold on the flop if he misses.

IMO, you were right to move in. It's a decent pot already, no need to get greedy. If he folds, that's fine, if he calls, then that great. You just got unlucky.
