Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: WotRTheChances on September 14, 2012, 06:45:09 PM Think c/f is fine both villains have strong-ish ranges here, which the Q-ball hits pretty hard. Generally its going to be pretty tough playing this flop OOP with a bunch of turns we hate. Just not a big fan of betting or c/c'ing here. Bet-folding cant be terrible though i guess.
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: George2Loose on September 14, 2012, 06:48:05 PM Yeh I'm in two minds re bet/folding and check/folding. Think c/folding is better on this board texture with your stack size

Think c/folding is better on this board texture with your stack size Yeah I didnt even look at stacks... definately tending towards c/f Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: paulhouk03 on September 15, 2012, 12:57:40 AM What's ur opening range here ?
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: PizzicatoXev on September 15, 2012, 03:23:33 AM What is the buyin of the tournament? (assuming its a stars tournament)
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: TL900 on September 15, 2012, 03:55:59 AM What is the buyin of the tournament? (assuming its a stars tournament) what would you do if it was a) $10 FO b) $50 FO Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: Pugwashed on September 15, 2012, 05:15:17 AM Still can't decide between bet/fold and check/fold. I think I check/fold
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: youthnkzR on September 15, 2012, 09:22:00 AM c/c >> b/f >> c/f
never c/f here imo.... obviously this isnt an ideal spot and with our stack we dont have too much room to mess around but we do have the nut 2nd pair which is going to be the best hand a good % of the time. question for all people who said b/f... what do we do on a total brick turn if we get called in one spot? Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: Young_gun on September 15, 2012, 12:21:46 PM Probo a check/fold, but dont know the regs so have no idea of their range in this spot. Need more info to C/C here really or do anything else
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: muckthenuts on September 15, 2012, 01:14:08 PM I think it's close but i prefer bet/folding, partly because i'd like to win this pot here and also see the turn with the initiative as we can nicely double barrel a bunch of turns. Seems hard for anyone to have a really strong hand here, we have a blocker to AQ/JJ, and without history our range is definitely a lot stronger than anyone elses in this spot.
I think c/f is perfectly reasonable line as well but prob a bit nitty. Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: cambridgealex on September 15, 2012, 01:20:20 PM fold pre
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: muckthenuts on September 15, 2012, 01:34:55 PM fold pre R/f seems better pre, just about deep enough. With our stack and the bb's stack people should play straighforwardly enough/give us credit from this spot and the hand plays fine to a flat. Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: OverTheBorder on September 15, 2012, 02:05:04 PM I would never check this flop, probably as I am bad....first caller looks like a NIT from OPR high ITM low conversion rate, second callers range is widened by first caller imo
What in their flatting range this deep have they hit that beats us AQ (may raise) so 88, Q10s (maybe), QJs and KQ what else do they have that beats us? I would lead out for about 2000 and fold to a shove probably depending on in game experience and $$$ staked Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: pleno1 on September 15, 2012, 02:13:51 PM 100% fold pre with stack
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: paulhouk03 on September 15, 2012, 04:07:24 PM 6d
fold pre Phew thought it was redic nitty saying fol pre Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: skolsuper on September 15, 2012, 05:31:39 PM definitely not folding pre, there are antes in play and we need some r/f range, this is it.
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: LonOhRay on September 15, 2012, 05:39:42 PM definitely not folding pre, there are antes in play and we need some r/f range, this is it. This, and with BB stack not getting raised lightTitle: Re: WWYD? Post by: pleno1 on September 15, 2012, 07:25:27 PM We don't really need to care about our r/f range of its. 10 dorra.
Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: SuuPRlim on September 16, 2012, 04:41:38 AM Think check folding is the best play by a decent margin in a $10 f/o.
Betting has one huge piece of merit in that in stops weaker hands taking us of the pot which is pretty possible but my biggest reason for not wanting to bet is that you're going to be in an absolute coffin on most turn cards. I actually think that (vs competent enough opponents at least) you'll get taken off the hand way more once we bet as to be able to continute post-turn after a bet and a call we need to have a pretty strong hand (we do have these hands, but we dont have it here!) in order to continue and the stacks are messy. Check/Call is the worst option by a mile Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: action man on September 16, 2012, 12:15:11 PM r/f pre
c/f flop Title: Re: WWYD? Post by: TL900 on September 16, 2012, 02:29:14 PM I never said it was a 10 f/o btw. I just asked what pizzicatoxev would do in the 2 scenarios. I did c/f flop.
