villain history= fairly loose pre flop, wide range of calling hands

hero has £75 stack UTG with  Ad Jd raises to £4, 3 callers, 1 in mid position and both blinds

flop comes  Td 9d 4c

blinds check to Hero who bets £10, mid position flats covering hero, blinds fold

turn-  Jc

Hero £23, villain calls

river-  5c

hero?

Yeah, get them in.

Don't like the size of your starting stack though. 75bb makes for awkward decisions and bet sizes usually (although worked out ok this hand). I'm guessing the other player had you covered and yours was the effective stack?

Almost always have the best hand - plenty of missed draws to rep, and they love to put you on a missed flush and call with any pair here.

My guess is you shoved and he called with a better hand like KTcc or something. It was still the right thing to do. Just unlucky this time.
