As played, you don't beat much of his value range on the turn but you have so many blue cards that you could make a flush. I would not be folding at this juncture. Title: Re: Sunday Storm, new table no reads ITM Big stack vs Big stack Post by: MC on September 17, 2012, 11:05:23 AM Really open jam over 30bb? presumably they mean 4 bet shove, or they have misread stack sizes 4bet/call or 4bet shove both fine I guess Title: Re: Sunday Storm, new table no reads ITM Big stack vs Big stack Post by: Killerkilsby on September 17, 2012, 11:33:13 AM Yup misread it my bad.

Title: Re: Sunday Storm, new table no reads ITM Big stack vs Big stack Post by: OverTheBorder on September 17, 2012, 12:38:08 PM In the storm I 4b shove this everytime, most spewy tournament on calendar from my experience. Not crazy about having a 1/6th of my stack in pre on a hand which doesnt flop exceptionally well, plus player looks solid so not sure I want to go through the streets if he has KK+ or AK then cest la vie
Title: Re: Sunday Storm, new table no reads ITM Big stack vs Big stack Post by: Young_gun on September 17, 2012, 01:38:07 PM very very very easy all in pre in a tournie like this. top 200 etc means nothing! Rubz cheers mate <3 Title: Re: Sunday Storm, new table no reads ITM Big stack vs Big stack Post by: Young_gun on September 17, 2012, 01:44:46 PM Thanks all, did think it was a bit deep to shove.
Is 4b/f ever bad here of make it 36k? Dissapointed getting stack and makin basic error :-[ Will bare in mind next time im im this spot. Title: Re: Sunday Storm, new table no reads ITM Big stack vs Big stack Post by: JK on September 17, 2012, 03:05:12 PM I had a similar spot to this in the storm yesterday, just 4b piled and was happy about it. You'd be surprised what you get called by.
As played we have to go broke. We flopped toppest pair and a royal flush draw, which ranks very highly on all hand ranking charts. The problem with getting this deep in this tournament with chips is you have to take these spots so it makes it pretty high variance. |
