Title: Facing a cold-call
Post by: MC on September 18, 2012, 09:08:20 AM
$109 Turbo MTT

Best way to proceed here?

The opener was opening an awful lot, too much, so he is super wide here.

The cold-caller had decent stats over 220 hands, nothing crazy, not overly passive. I can't remember if I sharkscoped him during or after the hand (from a quick sharkscope I assume he is a break-even to slightly losing player)

i think one and done is good here, some bad turns and rivers can roll off decreasing the likelihood of us being ahead, keep it simple.... bet/folding leaves us very few decisions to have to make thus we can make a lot less mistakes

What is our reason for betting? Value? Bluff? I think I'd rather check and evaluate later on.
