Title: $11 MTT on Stars post flop person first to acts shoves Post by: Young_gun on September 21, 2012, 09:28:35 PM No reads, this is standard fold yes? Feels dirty folding here but obviously with no history its probably a simple fold.
I have played very tight, no hands with villain. I witnessed an open shove with 200 BB with AQo but a lot of time it tends to be bullets pre. In this spot I think he has a draw you havent 3b/4b/5b so he has you on your full opening range which means if he has a set its a strange way of extracting value and should check/raise all day long. He may also have top pair A kicker hoping you may spite call with AK.
I am never folding here, below $25, majors I may sigh fold probably villain dependant Title: Re: $11 MTT on Stars post flop person first to acts shoves Post by: Ironside on September 21, 2012, 09:53:49 PM i am never folding here more hands you beat than hands that are beating you
Title: Re: $11 MTT on Stars post flop person first to acts shoves Post by: MC on September 21, 2012, 10:17:36 PM Quick sharkscope, perhaps if he's a marginal winner you can fold
Otherwise in an $11 just get it in and obv make a note whatever he ends up having. Title: Re: $11 MTT on Stars post flop person first to acts shoves Post by: Young_gun on September 21, 2012, 10:19:31 PM i am never folding here more hands you beat than hands that are beating you I wouldn't normally but seems dodgy + 2 more people behind which makes a bit of a difference. If he puts me on overpair which he prob does maybe he wants me to level myself into calling here Again dunno why i fold but just the instinct i guess.. Title: Re: $11 MTT on Stars post flop person first to acts shoves Post by: muckthenuts on September 22, 2012, 09:31:08 PM Dude do you really think he open ships any hands that have you beat? I'd be thrilled to get my chips in here
Title: Re: $11 MTT on Stars post flop person first to acts shoves Post by: discomonkey on September 23, 2012, 12:29:19 AM why would he put you on an overpair in an $11 mtt opening from ep.... 1. he might not care what you have he just seens a draw or top pair and wants to win it now.... 2. its an 11 dollar mt, people just dont care half the time and could be shoving any gutshots/top pair/flush draw etc, if you have some sort of read that he is good and thinking you could fold, but vs 90% of $11 mtt players this is just a call always

Probably wrong but went with the gut:) Title: Re: $11 MTT on Stars post flop person first to acts shoves Post by: BulldozerD on September 23, 2012, 12:49:48 PM Not folding
