Double Deepstack weekend!! £500 and £150 running alongside each other!


Both Deepstacks will run 2nd – 4th November With two day 1’s and then day 2 will take place on Sunday 4th November, the £500 has £100,000 GTD and the £150 Deepstack is guaranteed at £30,000. The £500 Deepsatck comes with an incredible 30k starting stack and the clock has been altered slightly, 40 minute levels on Day 1 followed by 1 hour levels should you be fortunate enough to proceed into Day 2. Similarly the £150 Deepstack has 30,000 chips with a 30/45 min clock.

Late reg until 7.15pm each day

When are the Online SATs going to start? For the October, the online sats ran only for 5 days. Hope it starts much sooner this time...

The £150 satellite didn't get enough runners last night... I'm surprised that more people don't play both together

Not yet. Probably will though as it will be my first chance to play one of the bigger comps in a while.

I ve had a few goes for the 500 without much luck. I haven't tried the 150 because 15 euros is a bit steep for me as I know I ll end up spending a third of the buyin if not more. It was a 6 euro rebuy last month which I think worked alot better and had more numbers which generated 2 seats. Not sure why it's changed tbh.

If we spend a third of the buy in to win a seat isn't that a good result?

Hell's teeth, some of the regular faces must be spending a lot more than that...

Last night's satellite had zero add-ons, and comparatively few rebuys, not sure how typical that is.

will the week before the deepstack have big sats like it has in the past...trying to control my online poker money better i filled in the game limits on a low monthly amount not realising it didnt start from that day but from the beginning of the month...so i can't play online again until 1st Nov (doh) so wondered if there would be a big sat that night as it is the thurs before it starts.   :dontask:

No £500 sats this month in Club, as we have CPP live sats

The €15 1R 1A satelittes - average spend is just under €30, about 14% of the buy-in, or 1 in 7 players winning a seat, the spend is lower in the €50 for the £500 seats, more like 1 in 10 winning a seat and a spend of €63.

the CPP sats are on the Friday and Saturday nights (2nd/3rd). Is there no room for sats to the £500 on Wednesday  31st or Thursday 1st Simon?

i can't just buy in. Will try to sat in ( hoped live but will obv have to be online now ). I do have a couple of kidneys to sell that have not had much alcohol pass through em as a back up tho. :)

The reason I asked about the live sats was that I know a few people who don't play on DTD online and so were interested in the live sats.  I don't think they'd need to have big guarantees either, one or two with 5 seats guaranteed would attract people I'd reckon.  But if the CPP is the focus I guess that people don't have the budget to play an unlimited number of sats - otherwise they wouldn't have to play the sats to start with...

Hate to sound thick as I am sure this has beeen asked many times before, but why cant I see the 500 satellites listed. all I can see are the feeders. TY

Already won a seat into the 150, ergo I cannot attempt any 500 sats.

I had an exchange of emails with Nicola this week about a similar situation. I won a £500 seat and can't register to play those, but can register for the £150. You should be able to play the £500 sats, but you would have to use the £150 within a month. Or something like that anyway

This is correct, you are able to play the satellites unless you have won a seat for that event. If you win a seat for both events then you will be able to use the £150 seat for one of the 1 day £150 events. The £500 won't be until at least December so you will need to play that seat for the Nov event.

Am in Nottingham on Friday for a meeting and hope to play either the £500 if in time, or the £150 if later.

How many levels are played on Friday for each of these / estimated finishing times for each please.

rick117 is in already which is pretty std. Think Wadey and Frankie have seats too.

Does anyone think/know if there will be a deepo the same weekend as GPS in Sheffield? Remember DTD did £100k GTD, smaller buyin the same weekend at Stoke..

I'll be playing the 500 sats next week then.

For the recent £500 monthlies, they've been running 15 levels on 1a and 1b. If this is the case Friday thats a 12.30-1am finish for the £500 and a 2.30-3am finish for the £150, depending on number/length of breaks

Extremely unlikely there will be a major two day deepstack, as it coincides with the Caribbean Poker Party in St Kitts

The Stoke event was scheduled for the first weekend of the month when DTD holds its monthly deepstacks

I'd guess the GPS Sheffield weekend will see DTD run one day comps like the £150 and Super 50s as per recent weekends

caught the last three players when i got in (wanted to see what sort time it would finish) very  strange what the chip leader did but worked out well for you...good luck hope i can get one Thurs night.   ;pokergods;

Really can't decide which one to play.

Both great value in comparison to buy in but the 150 is going to be a considerably softer field.

Even though the £500 obviously has a bigger 1st prize I can't help but think the £150 could be the one to play.
