My name is marc wright, ive been playing poker as a profession for over 4 years. Im currently ranked 2nd in the uk on pocket 5s (2nd to nigdawg) and 34th in the world. I play the majority of my poker online but have had some live success over the past year including 7th in EPT berlin and 11th in the irish open. I had a fairly deep ITM finish in the wsop main event this year also and feel very comfortable in a live format now. Ive sold many packages for live and online on here over the past 2-3 years and have paid out $300k+. Id imagine i have a extremely large edge on the field, and upon asking some of my close friends, ive decided to sell at 1.3. Open a6ss utg. Older gentlemen who had played real tight calls utg+1. 2 calls from the blinds. A62cc. The utg+1 had chips ready to bet, so I checked to him and he bet 3k into 2500. He has 10k back and I asumed he wasnt folding to just shoved. He calls AKo and we hold. Really frustrating day and a bit. Didnt make the best hand many times and when i did i never won any money :-( I had a great table today, probably the softest of the remaining. I played 3 pots today. First i open 85ss in the HJ win with a cbet on AJ8r. Next hand i complete J8cc from sb after cutoff and button limp. 4 way to flop of Jh 4c 7d. I check/call 2bb bet from button. Turn 9d. I check and button shoves for like 4x pot and i fold and get shown J9o. Then the guy to my right (a reg on the gukpt tour, older indian gentlemen, likes to see flops not matter what the action), limps the cutoff. I am playing like 37k at 500/1k and make it 3500. He calls. We have 9s Aspades. flop is 8s 9c 2d. And first to act he shoves for 30k total or sumit into 9k. Maybe can find better spots etc, but we NEVER have the worst hand here and altho he is gona have hands that have good equity sometimes, im sure he shows up with worse 9x too. Anyways he has TJo and it comes J J. Pretty disapointing as travelled a long way for this comp (obv wish i hadnt now ;-) Thanks for buying, sorry we didnt make money this time.
