Title: APAT Tournament Spot
Post by: Rod on October 15, 2012, 07:52:31 PM
I play this hand fairly badly but what is the best line?

Tournament is APAT Scotland. £75+£7.50
Blinds are 4K/8K with a 500 ante. 9 players remaining £140 for 9th with 2.3K for the win.

The tables has just started so no reads really

I am Chip Leader with 419K UTG has 185K. Average is about 220K.

I have JJ

UTG makes a raise to 22K and it folds to me in the SB. I flat call the BB folds.

Flop: 6c 7h Tc

I check, UTG bets out for 28.5K, I call (should I shove?)

Turn: 2c

I check UTG bets 48K, I shove????

Best line here? 3 Bet pre? Shove flop?

Our hand...? Kinda matters when we are playing oop.

Really opponent dependant. The way I see our stack is the difference between us and them size wise is a big weapon.

Vs a utg range, just 'calling to see no A or K' is pretty bad. We need to be 3bt-Ing our hand pre OOP, and dependant on OP depends on whether we fistpump/ hi5/ sigh-call it off when he shoves.

But absolutely not calling oop to guess......

Bad plan in nlhe
