Title: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: AlexMartin on October 20, 2012, 11:10:34 PM 4th level, average table. Image is clean with villain 1, villain 2 thinks im bad/nuts.
100/200 26k Utg (bad tilted oriental middle-aged guy) limps, utg+1 (reasonably decent, technically bad local limps utg+2). These players are the 2 deepest stacks at the tarb. mp/co and btn also limp. We find Qc Qs in the sb and go 850. BB online freeroll irish qualifier, late 20's seems tightish 3b to 1950. 2nd limper now makes it 6.5k straight, trivial? Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: mondatoo on October 20, 2012, 11:30:32 PM 5 limpers ?
I'd make it more pre, would make it around 1200. As played hating life, fold. Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: Lucky on October 21, 2012, 12:07:00 AM Didn't see this hand, so not being results orientated, but technically bad local seems to be doing well :dontask:

Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: muckthenuts on October 21, 2012, 01:08:59 AM pre shouuld be way way bigger, as played really really easy fold. This. Pre def too small for live yeah Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: pleno1 on October 21, 2012, 01:25:54 AM pre would be too small online too though.
Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: MANTIS01 on October 21, 2012, 10:10:48 AM Think I would make it 2k pre with technically bad or tilting ep limpers. Asking such players to make bigger mistakes is all good for value town. As played don't think it's an auto fold because how does utg+1 over limp with a big pair? Think it's only bb who can beat you. Considering he a freeroll qualifier suppose give him credit but would deffo be interested in his reaction to the big 6.5k bet.

Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: swinebag22 on October 21, 2012, 03:41:37 PM 450 + 1BB for every limper pre.
Horrible spot now. Can't see how UTG+2 isn't doing this without AA-KK in a 3 bet pot. I don't think that's what I didn't put ;) Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: DMorgan on October 21, 2012, 07:23:37 PM pre shouuld be way way bigger, as played really really easy fold. This Nobodys trying to own you in this spot, just got it Am I the only one who doesn't think were getting a lot of folds pre and that I may even just flat pre here....?? Obv when raising making it 1.2milli or something equally large, never doing anything but folding here vs reraise and limp/raise from Pinchop. He spews but even he wouldn't blow here often enough. You're the only one thinking we're not getting folds so we should flat yes! Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: SuuPRlim on October 22, 2012, 02:53:28 PM this is a confusing thread.

Just go all in, most of the time they can;t call <3 Well tbh i think i start a domino effect with anything resembling 4x-10x sizing, i dont encounter this specific situation often (might be 1st time this year) so clearly pre is too small. Regardless i did fold pretty quick, BB jammed and utg+1 folded quickly. BB flashed JJ and i wondered why i turned up. Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: cambridgealex on October 22, 2012, 06:13:22 PM lol pinchopaments
Title: Re: gup luton hand, thoughts please Post by: MANTIS01 on October 22, 2012, 06:54:36 PM Amazing for bb to squeeze out both QQ and KK/AA in this spot.
