Title: Herbalife 26 days to Vegas 2 stone challenge
Post by: Girgy85 on November 17, 2012, 03:21:38 AM
Basically been shit for the last 3 months and needed a jump start so I bought a 30 day supply of herbalife. It consists of two tubs of shake and soy protein, herbal tea, multivitamin tablets and some fibre and herb tablets. The program has cost £149.

I weighed 24st 1lb at the start of the year and reached my lowest weight of 21st 3lbs in around August. I weighed in today at 21st 12lbs. The target is to lose 2 stone by the time I go to Vegas on the 13th of December.

I am going to document daily on this thread.

Breakfast will consist of a shake, 2 herb and fibre tablets, 1 multivitamin tablet and a herbal tea.
Mid morning snack of fruit or low fat yogurt.
Lunch will consist of the same as breakfast.
Mid afternoon snack of fruit or low fat yogurt
Tea will be something healthy.

Two litres of water a day must be consumed.

Going to do a minimum of 3 1hour gym sessions a week.

Challenge will start in around 8 hours when I get up.

Lets gogogogogogoooooo

9lb gain since August is not to bad Girgy considering you say you have been eating shit, and still a lot better than your original weight at the start of the year.

Good luck with this 'crash course' not the best way to lose weight but you know that anyway....

That diet will help you lose weight, but not sure what those tablets are meant to achieve other than make your wallet a bit lighter?

Some questions. Why this diet, and how you going to keep the weight off? Also, what you going to do when you're feeling really hungry whilst on this plan?

This is just a quick fix to drop some weight before Vegas and Christmas. Like I said I've not done anything inc running for 3 months or so :(

Not sure I understand. You plan to lose some weight before Vegas, and then immediately put it back on whilst you're out there?

:)

I had a really really bizarre way of dieting though, none of these fancy Diet plan things, Gym visits, or exercising.

I just ate less, & and ate better.

It'll never catch on though.

I lost 2 stone taking a page out of your book, but it took me 12 weeks to get there.  Not a quick fix, but definitely worked in the long run because I'm still losing a bit without even trying.

Good luck with yours Girgy!

How is putting pineapple chunks on eveything classed as eating less and better?

Day one went ok.

12pm had a strawberry shake and tablets followed by a herbal tea which apparently is equivalent to 30 minutes on the treadmill.

4pm had a jacket potato, chicken burger and peas. Tablets and a cup of tea.

9pm had my final shake and tablets.

Snacked on a small portion of grapes and a small bag of Brazil nuts about 11pm.

2 litres of water throughout the day.

It can slightly increase your metabolic rate and it seems quite reasonable that by doing that it can burn some calories but 30 mins on the treadmill for me is 380 calories and it couldn´t come anywhere near replicating that.

I'm going to have a beer now. It's my favourite beer and I've decided it's the equivalent of running 10 miles, which is nice. Might have another after, but then I'll need a sit down.

Maybe a bit late, but a lot of the guys on one of the celtic forums are reporting good weight loss following the eat normal 5 & fst 2 days a week as in this programme (towards the end) YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9_vGtbjHPQ I've had some success but not having much of a settled routine makes fitting the fasting in hard.

ha ha. My product would be called Hebalneedstogetalife.

Wife told me about the orgasm diet so we both started it Monday and apparently you lose 70 calories everytime you orgasm. We both been trying hard n I reckon I have burned 1400 calories. She is looking for a different diet

Tis ok if youve got a steady routine where you can have all your meals planned out. If you fit in some good cardio through the week too it should drop off ;)
