Okay so it's Curlys birthday on Friday and I've decided to buy her an SLR and send her on a photography course as a Gift.. Thinking she'll appreciate it as she's constantly taking pictures on her Iphone and telling me she should give up Now buying an DSLR camera is not as easy as it looks I'm torn between two, one because of price but the other because I'm an amateur and think bigger number mean better and Kit... So It's the Nikon D3100 - £264 from Currys/PC world 14.2 megapixels Sensor size and type: 23.1 x 15.4mm CMOS HD video: Full HD 1080p ISO Speed Range: 100-3200 Screen type: 3” LCD screen Nikon D3200 - £443 from Currys/PC world 24.2 megapixel CMOS image sensor 11-point autofocus system Lightweight body Guide Mode Scene Recognition System I've been reading some reviews online but really require some guidance here.. Please help.... To save Tikay replying, you should definitely buy it in Argos, and you can save money by buying one that can only take high resolution shots on the left hand side of the picture or right hand side of the picture, as that is all of the target object you will have in the frame. I was thinking about going for a Canon 600d becuase of it's Superior video recording capabilities but decided against it... Great deal for this piece of kit...
