Title: 20 tabling for 10 hours, is how many tourns?
Post by: Ant040689 on November 23, 2012, 06:39:47 AM
I will be playing up to 24 tables, in a 12 hour session but it will average out at about 20 tables over ten hours every time I play. I was wondering how many tourns this would equate to? I know I should count myself but I haven't and was wondering if any of you would know the answer from the top of your heads? O a reasonable region.

Would like to know as I am implementing a much safer BR buyins scheme which is going to basically make the swings of the games I play seem redundant. Does mean though that volume is key.

would be mostly standard tourns, and for the sake of the maths, all the tourns are standard slower ones.

I am thinking 80.

Too many

I would not be able to cope! I can play up to 12 games on 2 screens but prefer 6-8 at a time!

I'd say at an average of maybe 2-3 hours per tourny, you're looking at about 60.

EH?

20-24 tabling at 2 hours per tourney is a lot more than 60/day.

More to the average time played for each tourny,  if it is around 2-3 hours, it's a bit higher, maybe 80 or 90, sorry to early for me, I'll have another coffee and get my calculator out.

Probably less than you think because towards the end of the session you will stop registering tourney and end up playing a couple of tourneys you are deep in for the last hour. The same applies for the start, you can't just jump into 24 tourneys.

And if this helps I'm playing rush on demand tourneys atm, I average 6 tables but they take an hour to play. Over 8-9 hours I can manage 40 tourneys. At the start of the session I'm 3 or 4 tabling for a bit and then at the end the same applies.

yeh that is why I said that the average will probably be only be 20 tables for 10 hours as you need to account for the time it takes to get to 24 plus the comedown as you are on the last tables. I am playing for 12 hours and like to fill to 24 as quick as I can and for as long as I can and think the average will be 20 tables for 10 hours.

I am just going to count it for my next grind either tomorrow or Sunday methinks, I am going to go for it is 80 tourns.
