Pleasure to chat with Ian this weekend. I saw him at the Fox then got to play with him at Dtd. He hated some of the unnecessary tanking but obv held it together to tid.

Congrats mr gas you boss!! Peeling K6hh from 15 bbs like a hero and shipping King high flops and my personal favourite, grtting an indepth insite into the mind of a poker pro when he did a PHA but during a hand before making the hero call with Ace high...but then got shown the nuts hahaha.

He was trying to bust out early on to play cash, but he's such a #tournamentpro that he instead soon found himself as chip leader.

Thankfully, for anyone playing the 100 today, Ian isn't playing.

I had a plan.If it all went wrong,just ensure runner runner on the flop and river.Takes real skill.Six on the turn and Seven on the river.Simple.

Correct.I went all in out of position with air.When snap called I had to hit on the turn and the river.Level 9 play Ed.

Ian, I've always wanted to ask this. When you're writing important letters and emails concerning billion dollar deals, do you put spaces in between the fullstops and the start of a new sentence? :D

Just spoken to the father, intent on gleaning an insight into one of the game's beautiful minds, as I rang him for our standard tournament review/interesting hand analyses etc.

Personal highlight, "I was doing pretty well, then I got a bit hungry and tilty. Basically lost them all and then played like a maniac til I got them all back".

I can only imagine what this sequence of events must have looked like.
