Title: The Legalities of Delivering McDonalds
Post by: JK on December 13, 2012, 11:34:45 PM
Saw something on Facebook where someone was offering to home deliver McDonalds at the charge of £1 per item. I thought this was a pretty cool idea, but wondered what the legalities are?

Assuming you'd have to have some government license, but I mean from McDonalds. Could they sue you or something? I dont really know anything about this tbh lol

If you are doing it for friends/people you know, I would think meh, what's the problem?

If you were doing it as a business, then it's a problem!

If this was viable then IMO Mcdonalds would have had a system in place years ago, is there something with the temp and quality of the food that makes this a non starter as it would have lost it's premium zing from the microwave?

That was the problem me and mrs thought of.

Keith, you mean a problem with McDs themselves? Would it be a legal problem or just them being pissed off?

I dont wanna do this btw, just thought it was interesting

Assuming a motor vehicle would be used insurance would need to be business rather than domestic,at a cost of several hundred pounds extra.
