Title: 3 kings rush Post by: muckthenuts on December 21, 2012, 03:36:56 AM Rush mtt so no reads. I cover villain.
I raise flop cos i think he'll call or jam a lot of time he has pairs, any flush draws and theres also room to spazz if he wants. This ok? Then he veryyyy quickly jams turn to the bet and i reconsider if i have the best hand or not. Thoughts? Title: Re: 3 kings rush Post by: muckthenuts on December 23, 2012, 12:40:12 AM Really interesting that 3 good players say call. I mean i folded, partly cos i'm a fish but what can he ever have? He can't have flush draws, wouldn't give anyone credit for floats at this level and surely all AA-99 hands would choose to jam flop for value, rather than do so when i've continued to show strength on the turn? The turn bet was fast too, and though that is usually weakness i felt it reflected a thoughtless decision here, something that doesn't correlate to a < 1pr hand on a paired board i've c/r'd. He can def have all the remaining combos of AK/KQ/KJ/77 which = 15 combos that i lose to. Is calling really not even close though?
Title: Re: 3 kings rush Post by: BALOTELLI9O on December 27, 2012, 04:07:36 PM I don't see how you can fold really. I mean if you are worried about him having you beat on the flop or turn, why check raise and why bet the turn if you are going to fold when he shoves? Building a huge pot when you are going to fold if he puts it all in with trips makes no sense at all.
In a low stakes MTT I am never ever folding here. if he has you beat, nice hand, chalk it up to a cooler and feel ok about your decisions in the hand. |
