Title: QUIZ - This is the answer, what's the question? Post by: cambridgealex on December 22, 2012, 01:19:51 AM Below are 5 answers to 5 questions. You have to guess the question. Up to 3 guesses per question. You gain points not just by guessing the correct answer, but by ingenuity and hilarity also.
For example, an answer could be £1,130,000 and you could submit the guesses "Amount Pleno would be up this year if you added together all his 2k hand heater graphs" "Total prizepool generated by UKIPT Nottingham". You score /5 for overall hilarity of your guesses and an extra 10 points for getting the correct question. There will be 3 individual judges, myself, MANTIS (haven't asked him yet) and one mod (any one that agrees/volunteers) who judge the hilarity factor. So each question is marked out of 20 (3x judges hilarity scores /5 and one correct answer score for 5).So aim your comedy at us! The theme of the quz is BLONDE in 2012. 1) 12th 2) 1.6 3) €207,648 4) 1606 (at the time of OP) 5) £210,400 Submit answers by Sunday 6th January midnight, reveal will be Monday 7th January, 8pm. And those that have already pmed me answers, can still pm me some more, e.g. some people just entered one answer for each question. This is fine, but if the answer you've submitted is a serious guess at the question, it's not going to score any comedy points, so better to submit BOTH answers that can score comedy points, and get the answer correct. Not many high scores so far, should be a close one! I'll put the date back to after new year, might as well give people more chance to enter. I think if you 'know' the correct answer you submit that along with any other hilarious contributions you may have. That way you can score 5pts for the correct answer, and then a possible 15pts for your hilarity on others (3 judges scored * max 5pts each judge). Ed's answer of "Position lildave finished in WPT Dublin" I was fully prepared to accept, since it is in line with the theme and I was ready to tip my hat to him and say wp, nice answer. But then I thought I'd better just check...and it turns out he came 13th :D Well done to Tal for nailing Tikay.
