Title: WPT National Dublin: 3-6 Jan 2013 - Schedule for anyone travelling over Post by: wpt_ireland on December 23, 2012, 08:37:28 PM Hi all, Ger McIntyre here, and am looking after the promo for this event. Last time out there was a large contingent of players who travelled over from the UK, with the main event being won by Dave Shallow, narrowly defeating Charles Chattha who came second in a really great final table. For anyone who is travelling over we have an array of events to suit all players. And the good news is that the main event is now a much more affordable €1320 (euros). It is a re-entry event and if you get knocked out on day 1a you can re-enter on day 1b. We have games to suit all pockets, from €60 turbos to a €2700 (euros) High Roller event. The full details of all the events and structures can be found on:

Title: Re: WPT National Dublin: 3-6 Jan 2013 - Schedule for anyone travelling over Post by: Royal Flush on December 24, 2012, 03:46:08 PM Just looking at the website and i notice the high roller is called "double barrel" however it makes no mention of it being a re-entry.
Any chance you could clear that up? Title: Cash Game Action Post by: wpt_ireland on December 27, 2012, 03:07:40 PM For anyone interested in the cash game action, as well as the regular games, we will also have 10/20 NLH / PLO cash games running too.

Pretty much idle curiosity unless I have insane binkage in the next week but how much is the rake in your cash-games? Title: Re: Cash Game Action Post by: SuuPRlim on December 27, 2012, 06:23:28 PM For anyone interested in the cash game action, as well as the regular games, we will also have 10/20 NLH / PLO cash games running too. They said these would run last year but they didn't, whats the actual liklihood of these games running? There was 2/5 and a bit of 5/10 PLO running last year and the games were very very good I would say though Title: Re: Cash Game Action Post by: wpt_ireland on December 27, 2012, 07:04:04 PM For anyone interested in the cash game action, as well as the regular games, we will also have 10/20 NLH / PLO cash games running too. Pretty much idle curiosity unless I have insane binkage in the next week but how much is the rake in your cash-games? Depends on the size of the game, but they are all 5% capped Title: Re: Cash Game Action Post by: wpt_ireland on December 27, 2012, 07:06:55 PM For anyone interested in the cash game action, as well as the regular games, we will also have 10/20 NLH / PLO cash games running too. There was 2/5 and a bit of 5/10 PLO running last year and the games were very very good I would say though It was confirmed to me this morning by the main organiser, so I'd be pretty confident that the likelihood of these running would be almost certain Title: Re: WPT National Dublin: 3-6 Jan 2013 - Schedule for anyone travelling over Post by: Royal Flush on December 27, 2012, 07:19:02 PM Get involved lil d!

Title: Re: WPT National Dublin: 3-6 Jan 2013 - Schedule for anyone travelling over Post by: gouty on December 27, 2012, 10:36:39 PM 5% cap is excellent.
If its €20 cap too, like Killarney was then not so good. Although the pubs in Dublin will appreciate the business. Title: Re: WPT National Dublin: 3-6 Jan 2013 - Schedule for anyone travelling over Post by: Boba Fett on December 28, 2012, 06:29:05 PM I fly in early on the 2nd. Anyone else flying in around the same time and wanna chop a taxi to the hotel?
Title: Re: Cash Game Action Post by: SuuPRlim on December 28, 2012, 10:07:45 PM Get involved lil d! I just don't think the games will run personally, I cant see more high stakes players showing up for a 1.2k than a 2.5k (last year) but the 2/5 and 5/10 games were great I love Dublin and this was a superbly well organised comp last year I'm disappointed i'll miss it. Will be a great event. He was also highly unfortunate to have his suits covered thus reducing his flush outs. All in all a pretty shit festival as far as people turning up went. Dtd looked more fun in hindsight. I also had my first taste of PKR players playing live. Even pre flop folds take 30 seconds. Very tilting. TDs and dealers were truly excellent though tbh and Lemongrass restaurant really good. We may return for the Norwegian Open in March which had 50 cash games going last year I heard. |
