Apparently 7 out of 10 shoppers today will be men buying Christmas pressies.  I did chuckle when I heard this until I realised that I've been pretty poor this Christmas so I've reserved a camera for the Mrs and have to now brave the shops on Christmas Eve.  Parking up is the worst bit, took me nearly 20 minutes to get parked at Sainsbury's last Friday. 

Anyone else left it a bit late?

I have to buy one present a year and left it until Friday.

Pretty standard for me although I have managed to get the kids presents bought. Can palm the wife off with perfume.,job done.

Not even started mine, just off out. I'm an Xmas eve veteran, it's not busy that's a myth

pretty much this although i did get dragged round all the shops umpteen times to carry all the bags. She got tge majority done in October. Wife has done everything and even decorated one of the bedrooms to turn it into a playroom for all the toys.

I did offer to cook Xmas diner obv knowing full well she would not let me.

From all the guys I've spoken to, and myself included, the stereotype of the man rushing about on Xmas Eve will soon be replaced by the one of the man spending 20 minutes and putting no thought into one big session on Amazon, but early.

Taken a high risk strategy for today. Have to take my mum into town for some stuff, she is also the only person I don't have a present for yet, so a bit of ninja shopping is on the cards lol.

Well my trip to Currys was painless.  Hardly any traffic going in, parked pretty much in front of the shop in the retail park but I did have to wait a few mins for the camera as I was early.  In and out in 15 mins though.  Can't believe it was that easy.  Probably leave it later next year :D

2 hours and i got it all done, which included lunch at wetherspoons and dragging the two boys around with me.

Had a mad dash yesterday for the nephews other then that, did all my xmas shopping online, grouponed my good ladies presents (spa day and some earrings) everything else was pretty much standard. Hooded asbo tops for the other nephews, princessy tack for the niece with a hand bag, aftershave for the old man and perfume for my mom...

Done.. 

Gift bags FTW

I do all mine in a late night dash at the local mall. Bring them home and get the daughter to wrap them. She doesn't even charge me.

Sister does most of mine and rest normally gets ordered in advance, unfortunately left my mum late, but organised a beauty treatment gift voucher with the woman who does her nails etc. She said she'd leave it in an envelope for me at the side of the house as she was busy all day. I met her arriving at her house this evening... ooooops
