Title: FFS flat callers. 180mtt.
Post by: Sulphur man on January 06, 2013, 09:55:12 PM
Level 50-100 Hero playing 3k in MP. Folds round we have  Ks Qs and min.
Don't really want to get into a pot with the cutoff(3450) or hijack(2820) at
this stage plan to snap any shoves from the last three players who are all short.

Cutoff and Hijack both flat button predicatively shoves for 1125 folds back to hero.
What do we do here? All three players are tight over small sample(-40hands)

shove it? might get better to fold and take your chances against the button.  you cannot call and folding sucks

I am fine raise folding as a standard line

You know me well. Felt dirty afterwards. Agree we get some better hands to fold
behind us and was certain buttons range was weak. Had a plan that went up in smoke when
two big stacks behind both flat.

Iso shove.

You are getting very good odds to go up against the button and a hand which should have enough equity against his hand to make it EV. A simple bit of poker stove and pot odds is required here.

I much prefer shoving as I don't want the others for the ride and they will fold a lot in this spot in my experience

Longy/Doobs what would be the weakest holding we shove with here
or in similar spots?

Min raising to induce was not my intention here.
The plan was to avoid the two large stacks to a degree. Them both flatting
just made it awkward and was really not what was expected. Fully agree its a shove though.
