Title: Coupla 10/20 stud hands. Post by: rfgqqabc on January 08, 2013, 06:56:59 PM http://weaktight.com/5387094
He picked up 5s on 5th. Thoughts on all streets? I'm not a fan of my play, its early in session. Villain is good chinese reg, plays these stakes all the time. There are two fish behind me. http://weaktight.com/5387083 Ferth good chinese reg, slightly weaker than guy in previous hand, but very good still, definite winner in game. Whitty is a name i do not recognise. He seems like a potential mark, felt weak so far, but the game is running around a Russian. Thoughts on 6th mainly although feel free to comment at any point. Blockers everywhere hand 2 :D I think i dislike initial open vs this guy hand 1, and I'm not sure we can fold even though he reps so hard, we picked up so much equity. The open is kinda speculative, but we got an Ace, so I think its fine. would just fold 77T for example Title: Re: Coupla 10/20 stud hands. Really doubt its that bad just marginal. Title: Re: Coupla 10/20 stud hands. Post by: Skippy on January 09, 2013, 05:55:09 PM Both look good. Your hand gets bad quick if you limp along and one of the guys after you looks down at (9T)K and flicks it in. As for the decision on 5th, you've had the best possible run-out short of catching a 7 or an A, so I'd just lean on the call button and hope to pick up another pair by the river. You could be dead, but overall I think you've got enough equity to continue. I'm a proven bad stud player, I warn you though. Title: Re: Coupla 10/20 stud hands. I dislike because its somewhat doubtful that I'm even ahead of the initial limpers range. I know he is a good winning player, and whilst I don't understand his limping, I feel like opening one of the worst hands i would open here without his limp, a mistake. It's like isolating Ivey ^.^ I think your probably right about 5th! |
