Title: Watch Advice Post by: bobAlike on January 20, 2013, 02:35:08 PM I've got an old, some might say classic, watch which I'm keen to sell. It's made by a company called Montre Royale de Geneve. It's 18 carat gold and the strap is kind of solid but flexible.

To be honest I have know idea if its worth much. TIA Title: Re: Watch Advice Post by: RED-DOG on January 20, 2013, 02:37:32 PM Simon Trumper is your man.

I've had it for about 15 years and my Dad 20 before that. It fits me fine but it looks tiny on my chunky wrists. I've only worn it half a dozen times but didn't want to sell it as it was a gift from my Dad, he's still alive by the way, but I spoke to him yesterday and he's got another watch he wants me to have so I we agreed to get rid of this one. Does your dad have any idea on the price of the watch did he buy it 20 years ago or was it a gift to him? Title: Re: Watch Advice Post by: bobAlike on January 20, 2013, 08:54:48 PM He bought it from a friend of his who was a jeweller around 1980. he doesn't remember what he paid for it other than a few hundred quid lol.
