Title: Re: Hand from DTD Online Day 1 Post by: Ironside on February 01, 2013, 03:20:02 PM I fold in this spot don't really want to get in in pre and even if you see a flop you need to hit it massive to know where you are just don't look when you get shown kj and tt on the aaq flop
Title: Re: Hand from DTD Online Day 1 Post by: tight4better on February 01, 2013, 03:22:39 PM Liam loves a cold 4 but still seems like a fold

I cling to the belief that the RNG produces different cards if i call Title: Re: Hand from DTD Online Day 1 Post by: BulldozerD on February 01, 2013, 03:37:49 PM Just fold
Title: Re: Hand from DTD Online Day 1 Post by: jgcblack on February 01, 2013, 05:43:10 PM If we know its LB and we think he's competent enough to be OOL here enough, surely this can be a good spot for us to take our blockers and go to work with the raise button???
Title: Re: Hand from DTD Online Day 1 Post by: SuuPRlim on February 01, 2013, 05:45:45 PM errrr, what?
It's 9 handed poker we've opened EP and been 3 and cold 4 bet and we have Ace Queen with deep stacks? In good news though we only have to wait 3 or 4 minutes to be dealt new cards. As folding as the day is long. Folding like it's 1967, a bad year for fishing, but a grrrreat year for folding. Title: Re: Hand from DTD Online Day 1 Post by: david3103 on February 01, 2013, 09:31:16 PM I did indeed find a fold, as did Ambulanced (whoever he is)
Felt nitty, but I'm reassured now. Title: Re: Hand from DTD Online Day 1 Post by: pleno1 on February 02, 2013, 09:47:08 AM I mean we aren't folding ak, if we want to have a range here than 5betting aq as the main, and en sole part of or value range is perfectly reasonable. If you don't want to have a 5 b range ten trying to form a balanced range doesn't seem so great.
So in theory having a 5b range > having a calling range because it's multiway. So if you do want a 5 betting range, if your bluffing range consists of the best hand we fold and have blockers then it's perfectly fine to go with it. An argument would be that using ak as our bluffing range would be perfectly reasonable here.
