Title: 'Gun Battle' in Las Vegas
Post by: TommyD on February 21, 2013, 03:23:34 PM
Looks like the latest gun crime focus in the US will be in Vegas.

I saw the story on Sky News, looks like it's outside Ballys.

It is the third incident of violent crime to hit the popular casino resort this month.

Two people were wounded in a shooting at a Las Vegas car park on 6 February.

And a tourist was stabbed in a lift at the city's Hotel Mandalay Bay on 16 February
.

Committing a violent crime in Vegas must be the most stupid thing a criminal could do.

Definitely will get caught.

(Actually robbing a casino might be more stupid come to think of it)

Turf wars must be huge there, tho, if not generally visible. All the drugs and open-minded ladies must be managed by someone.

Could be a good shout, that :D

Mind you, no reports of any shootings in the SportsBook, betting on 40-rated horses as yet. Should be OK.

Post on facebook by a Glasgow guy nearby at the time.

"was playing cash in the flamingo casino in vegas last night when about 4 am there was a series of loud bangs followed by a deafening explosion The casino was immediately locked down and no one was allowed in or out.We were all allowed to leave the casino at 7.30 and found out a guy driving a maseratti was shot and killed by guys in a suv.The maseratti crashed into a taxi and exploded on impact killing the driver and his fare. The strip was still cordoned off when I left my own hotel at 14.00.The guys in the suv escaped."
