Title: Still jamming?
Post by: zerofive on February 22, 2013, 12:30:25 PM
This is probably really obvious, but just want some opinions, confidence low etc.

50/1 game, dead splashy, villain is some old guy who I've not played much with but he plays big hands really fast, like he'll just open to £15 with QQ+ etc but no idea on his postflop tendencies. He probably isn't thinking about my hand.

3 limpers, I make it £7 from the sb with Ad Kh, bb and limpers call.

Flop (£35) Qc Js Td

Bet £21, folded to villain who calls.

Turn (£77) Qc Js Td 2s

Bet £48, villain calls

River (£173) Qc Js Td 2s Qs

Effective stack is £130. Pretty certain we still jam this card right? What if the J or T pairs?

[edit: board runout wrong, bd frush gets]

yup im allin. he's never folding a q (can have loads of Qx as well given he's limp/called pre) and might hero with AJ, KJ sometimes too. Hard for us to be beat unless he's slowplayed a monster check check fakin check :D

hm, £52 imo.

think this works way better online than in a live game, I think if you're betting less than all-in something like £90/£95 is the amount, he will NEVER EVER EVER bluff over £52 and in my experience they dont call that much wider than double or even all in, the reason id do £90 is so he can see your hand and still be dealt in next hand...

Incidently I <3 £52 if you're bluffing :D

Count out £135 then go "Oh your short" and bet 78 if your bluffing.

I can't decide between 95 and cram, prob cram ingame unless he really hates river. edit: def cram ingame hate myself to miss out on £40.
