Title: Weird stack size vs donk lead. Post by: youthnkzR on March 08, 2013, 03:32:17 PM Seems simple, but maybe not so.

Villain is playing 27/14/3.5/9.8 over a sample of ~100 hands. Villain is a complete random however we opened his BB previous orbit with Ac Kc , he peels and donks 1/3rd pot on Ks Jc 4c , folding to a raise. Opinions on; Raising/Jamming/Calling/Folding ( ::) ) ? Title: Re: Weird stack size vs donk lead. Post by: rbc_mike on March 08, 2013, 04:37:47 PM Seems like a shove I'd be pretty happy to make tbh. He probs thinks this a good board to donk as it's gonna be hard for you to continue without a good-ish hand, given your stack size. Are we still in the rebuy stage? Would be more inclined to shove then as looks weaker.
Raising to call is OK i guess but: a) doubt he ever reshoves as a bluff, and will have decent equity when he does reshove; b) looks too strong to ever be a bluff Folding seems ludicrous! If you call there are some turns that you can get bluffed off and may be an action killer too. tl;dr version - get it in. Title: Re: Weird stack size vs donk lead. Post by: JustinSayne on March 08, 2013, 07:06:23 PM Not many good turn cards so raising feels a bit meh if he peels.
Just cram and get snapped by 89 or something Title: Re: Weird stack size vs donk lead. Post by: SuuPRlim on March 08, 2013, 07:17:49 PM I dont think you could blame yourself for going broke here.

Post by: OverTheBorder on March 08, 2013, 11:02:09 PM Jam into this stack, villain has cashed for $131 in his life, he will donk with any part of flop and you hate most turns, a classic, you raised pre and must have AK donk lead, I see this a lot, I usually just 3b but stack size means he can peel a lot and we hate turns so just fist pump it in
