Flop raise size seems ok to me - can obv go bigger but it's a dry flop, he might re-raise due to small sizing, etc.

After check raising flop why do you check the turn again? You have the initiative so I'd lead out. As played, once you've decided to check the turn, surely check-raising again instead of check-calling?

I'd have bet out around $1.40 on the turn as board is getting wet, if he re-raises me I'm going with it... i think the problem with the check-call on the turn is you really don't know where you are on the river so he may well just be repping the Queen. I doubt he has AK btw as I reckon he'd have re-raised you on the flop.

Fwiw, K-10 or J-10 I predict!

As per Dave,

Folding pre is fine, calling isn't so bad at this level?

Check raise more, checking turn seems very wrong.  You need to bet more.

River is a horrid card, check folding is fine.

Stats are fairly meaningless after 10 hands, but what is 50?

Might 3bet pre since its small blind vs button, you should be more inclined to 3bet vs someone 3xing the button rather than minraising but who the big blind is will also be a big part of the decision. If its a reg who squeezes a lot then 3bet is better than flat, if its a fish then flatting and letting him come along probably becomes better.

Flop raise should be bigger. I'd bet/fold the turn. He's probably checking back Kx pretty often but we can still get more value from it and he's probably gonna call turn with a lot of pair + straight draws that we can get value from. As played the river is a check/fold, the only thing we might beat is Jx turned into a bluff but I think that happens almost never(and your hand might look a lot like Qx with this line which makes him less likely to bluff and on the turn he is probably just gonna take his showdown value with Jx even though it really has none). Would expect to get shown straights or full houses almost always when calling the river (he can still have all sets, KQ, AT etc).

Calling pre is fine. Folding is pretty terrible imo

Raise flop bigger so we can set up stacks for turn + river shove.

Turn is somewhat thin vs his range, Still betting though.

River easy check fold

Also if we check turn, it should be to check fold imo

folding pre really is beyond terrible, flatting is fine/great.

flop 1.20

turn bet/fold.

Also c/r flop bigger

Definitely lead turn.

Turns out he had J Q I dont think I could of got him off it if I raised the turn, but I definately agree I need to bet more on the flop!!

Still Improving!!

Need to change this attitude too. You only wanted to "get him off of it" because he rivers gin.

Like the flat pre - I would occasionally 3bet this too but not every single time.

Flop: I think your check/raise needs to be slightly bigger, maybe like $1.20ish.

Turn: We've c/r the flop, therefore I think we should bet the turn.

River: As played, c/f is okay. If we bet the turn instead of c/c, I think it's still going to be a c/f almost all of the time otr.

Just looking back over this hand. I'm not keen on when people leave very little advice without saying why so no idea why i did it in my earlier post, apologies.

When it comes to the turn we need to look at what sort of range the opponent calls the small flop raise with then look at what those hands do on the turn. A lot of that range is going to check back the turn but will probably call a turn bet, especially now that they could have picked up a draw with whatever they had on the flop. So we are missing value on the turn and potentially giving them a free card, so yeah its a turn bet for value and protection for me. Its probably a bet/fold.
