Hi Everyone,

The date of the Blondepoker exclusive Free Roll will be Monday 15 April 2013 at 8pm on dusktilldawnpoker.com

I want the 10 seats to go to genuine Blondepoker member so to be eligible;

3. Please post what you have done on this thread before Sunday 14th April (or PM me if you prefer not to post ) and you will be PM'd the freeroll password before Monday 15th April e.g. I've sent the link to all my mates, I've shared Simons facebook image etc etc

My number one priority for the next 4 weeks is to simply tell people at grass roots level that "there is a poker tourney at Wembley with €1M GTD to the winner", most players know at the semi-serious level BUT this project will be won and lost at the recreational level, not the players that can afford €300 and €3000, there are simply not enough of those players to get anywhere near the numbers I need to pull this one off.  So everyone on Blondepoker can help me out simply by spreading the word and getting people to read at the ISPT Landing page that explains everything;

Here are some ideas how you and anyone you know can help drive traffic to the page, you may have more ideas yourself;

7. Post the link http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/ispt/ on any facebook groups and forums that DTD do not have a presence

8. Any ideas you can think of yourself, no matter how small, it's the effort that counts

I think I need about 100,000 unique hits - WTF ;surrender; on http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/ispt/, we have just under 4000 at the moment, so its a huge challenge and I unashamedly  ;tightend; do need help from the Blondepoker members.

I know most of you guys who know me would help me out anyway regardless of putting on a Freeroll on, that's just a small thank you from me, plus you never know, someone off Blonde who wins a seat in this Freeroll might go and and win the €1M, I remember Andrew Wan won our Monte Carlo from a freebie prize. Nicola and Simon have also done some Facebook and Twitter freerolls and of course, anyone who players the Blondepoker Freeroll can also play these ones aswell.

Don't think I can play that night but happy to spread the word in any way possible.

I can't really think of anything I could do that hasn't already been done. Could maybe wear a tee shirt or hoodie at the GSOP Marbella next month. Don't think many UK players will be there because of the Monte Carlo so it might push it to some people who're unaware.

I don't do facebook but I retweeted the DTD/ISPT link to my adoring followers.

The key is going to be good access to information (especially satelites)

Sure its acheviable if everybody chips in and spreads the word !

Details are on our works noticeboard..........we have over 750 staff go past the noticeboard everyday, not including any visitors to the workplace.

I am not sure the Twitter account for ISPT is upto much, think you are missing an opportunity here to get some more people interested.

@ispt_poker (<<<FOLLOW ON TWITTER) twitter account could go onto to follow thousands more poker players and hopefully get a follow back, tweet stuff and retweet from a poker player, opening up such a wider audience. Not only that, it's not giving much information out, probably would get the person in charge to get working on that ASAP. It would probably be an idea to try and get it trending if at all possible.

I would also try and DM message the more well known poker players around the world to promote it on Twitter too. A tweet from them would be huge!! Daniel Negreanu (@RealKidPoker) has 230,000 followers & I'd guess 99% of them are poker players.

Probably needs a little work too. If you post more on facebook & get a discussion going, then it's likely that someone else is going to see what you are discussing. Also if you like it, other people can see you like it on Facebook too, so get liking (if you haven't already). I'd also add a human onto it instead of group, an example being like Gabrielle Genting, just to raise more awareness.

It's just not impressive numbers at the moment with regards to Facebook. Only 1500 likes on Facebook and 800/600 on Twitter.

I'd also say best bet would to work on more of the groups on Facebook and Twitter rather than just Simon's post, it just adds to it more as some people like to see more from company than individual.

I am definitely of the opinion here that the ISPT Twitter account is missing a trick here by not being more active than it could be.

PS - How is it getting marketed over in Europe?

Great idea rob I've liked on FB and posted link on my page. Don't think there has been a day so far that I haven't told someone even if they don't actually play poker at that level the interest is still high with being played on wembley :)
I've even tried organising a satellite poker page on fb for ispt which had create alot of interest and also spreading of the event.

Would there be any miles in getting an arrangement with a big pub poker league organisation who could take it on themselves to organise some satellites/promotions if u promised them some seats etc. Sure the excitement of this comp and playin wembley wud be a massive hit with these lower level players. we are getting 10,000 ISPT leaflets printed on Monday.  Anyone that thinks they can distribute some (with the venues permission of course!) please contact Nicola on - nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com. We have plenty of patches aswell, just email Nicola and we will get a few sent out to you.

As I have said before, the key to this event 'awareness', a poker tourney at Wembley Stadium pretty much sells itself with 1 million gte to the winner, but if not enough people actually know about it before the satelittes start, we have no chance no matter how good a job we do organizing the event. It's a down and dirty numbers game for the next 45 weeks, we have 4000+ unqiue people that have read the web page, so lets say 1 in 20 of those cough up 30 euros for a satellite and have 2 attempts each, that's 400 players into Day 1's, 10% through so 40 players into Wembley Day 2 (plus 1 in 10 players that will cough up €300 straight up), that how important the number of people that have read the ISPT landing page is, lets face it, how many players are gonna participate in the satellites or Day 1's who have not at some point read the ISPT web page? Be interested in hearing anyone elses 'maths' on this event, we need 1852 players in Day 2's to hit the €1 million winner GTE, 500 is a disaster, 1000 in good, 1500 is really really good, 2000 would be WTF!

The amount they'd need to pay Ladbrokes/William Hill etc to do that in all likelihood wouldn't justify it, as the majority of bookies have their own online poker sites to protect. Not really the target market either as I'd imagine punters in bookies are less likely to play online which is really the main target market

as a means to whip up a bit of extra publicity for the event i would suggest that if you have a celibrity poker player hosting the event or  yourself ,as you are very well known in the poker community ,you could set up a charity text promotion where by people text there best guess as to how you will arrive at wembley for the event,by car,bus,tank,camel,helicopter,pongo stick,hot air balloon,skis,boat,horse,rocket pack,human cannon ball ect ect ....the chosen charity will get one pound per text and some extra media coverage could be produced for the poker event...if you could get bookies to quote odds for some of the more outlandish modes of arrival  it may even get onto tv

This is a Blonde Freeroll - Rob has already set the line in his opening post, to win a seat players have to have been signed up to Blonde before that opening post, and be able to show that they have promoted the ISPT in some way.

There are 19,000 members on Blonde, so there will be 18,999 runners in comp as Herbie will have been banned the day before the freeroll.

hi,i have a contact who works on a adult  cable tv show....top shelf newsagent grade ,she has several thousand blokes she texts tweets to keep up to date with the cable promotions......if i ask her she will probley add your advert to her followers....

I've  retweeted and liked on facebook etc and spread the word in Vegas last week.  I was surprised by how many yanks knew about it.  They didn't know exactly how it worked etc but were aware it was going on.  Unfortunately i didn't meet any that were coming over for it.

Did my little bit. Even got three players to sign up to DTD Poker in past 24hrs.
This free roll will be the softest ever(NOT).

I'm not on Facebook but got my wife Petra to like the page and also post on her wall and I am currently distributing the leaflets taken the weekend to various establishments and waiting for my next delivery of them to get them out to the pubs and snooker halls that have poker events in the Southend area as well as making 2 visits to local casino's on nights where the target market will be in attendance to make sure as many players as poss are aware of the event.

I have been discussing this at the three live events I've played in the last couple of weeks and been tweeting about it. Not on facebook but the freeroll for that is an incentive to finally sign up to it!

Looking forward to hammering the satellites, just before they start I will be changing my twitter picture to the ISPT logo and putting a link up on the next screen for people to click through for info.

Its fitting that the first 10 seats will be going to Blondepoker people on Monday. We will have another 10,000 flyers done next week, we used the first 10,000 for the Poker League and Small Venues, the rest we will be sending out to you guys who have PM's me and posted on here that you would like a few flyers. The ISPT had kind of made our Monte Carlo look like a £10 RB, but you guys have rallied round over the last 7 days and played the feeders and we got 294 in a live sat yesterday - WTF is going on! My number one priority for the next 4 weeks is to simply tell people at grass roots level that "there is a poker tourney at Wembley with €1M GTD to the winner", most players know at the semi-serious level BUT this project will be won and lost at the recreational level, not the players that can afford €300 and €3000, there are simply not enough of those players to get anywhere near the numbers I need to pull this one off.  So everyone on Blondepoker can help me out simply by spreading the word and getting people to read at the ISPT Landing page that explains everything;

I think I need about 100,000 unique hits - WTF  on http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/ispt/, we have just under 4000 at the moment, so its a huge challenge and I unashamedly   do need help from the Blondepoker members.

I know most of you guys who know me would help me out anyway regardless of putting on a Freeroll on, that's just a small thank you from me, plus you never know, someone off Blonde who wins a seat in this Freeroll might go and and win the €1M, I remember Andrew Wan won our Monte Carlo from a freebie prize. Nicola and Simon have also done some Facebook and Twitter freerolls and of course, anyone who players the Blondepoker Freeroll can also play these ones aswell.

Many people lurk on the forum and don't post much, they are just as entitled to play this as people who post daily

As I have said though I will check the list of winners names from Nicola tomorrow, and double check in so far as I am able that they have promoted the event as requested to be eligible to play it

I am not giving the password out to new members, but equally it would be naive to expect the password not to be passed on

I have to say - i think local football clubs are great to get seats won

How many teams could club together enough players (10/11?  :D ) for a £36 satty to day 1.

I mean DTD could even run them live every so often and provide a dealer for a quick STT.

For the one I am ruuning, I have told them it is £36 each and it will be done as a fun evening (drinking banter etc). For team morale, I got them to agree that they should have it so the player who wins (and plays) gets 55% of himself, and the other 9 take 5% each for the sweat of the £1m first prize. The £1m first prize is a really easy sell at that point.  Everyone must know guys that play footy that could do a team night out/in and play a satty on this basis??!?!?
