What is really incredible is the number of people that he talks to in this that have subsequently got themselves in trouble with the authorities for some form of skulduggery (in most cases unfairly I think). Makes you wonder if the bhb/city of London police etc watched this and thought "there is no way this bunch of jokers can be making a living legitimately"!!!!!!
Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: Marky147 on March 27, 2013, 11:52:21 PM Guy posted that on our forum just before Cheltenham, very interesting to watch and he seems like quite a character.
He also posted this one YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etKD36cwqDY Didn't really take to him all that much, whereas Harry Findlay seems like a good egg overall. (Although I don't know what they are up to atm) Is Nigel the Nigel T that goes to Sheffield dogs? Was that Angus Loughran I spotted at the dogs? Who was the posh guy Harry watched the horse in a flat with? Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: Marky147 on March 27, 2013, 11:58:30 PM KrackedKings forum, a couple guys from the old Laddies poker forum set it up when Ladbrokes closed their forum down.

The guy he plays tennis with and is eating with after the dogs is Jason Moore who was arrested with Glenn. Yeah that was Angus. Its like a blast back to the good old days isn't it Keith when us pros used to write our bets next to the beasts name in the Post not in a spreadsheet!!!! Angus was standing at a pitch at Cheltenham, was pretty shocked to see him there! Not even sure what Harry is up to these days? Is he still involved with Coventry dog track? Much better days for sure, never was a big fan of Harry though - mouth a little too big for my liking. Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: redarmi on March 28, 2013, 12:47:43 AM I believe Harry is still involved with Coventry dogs. Seems a perfect gig for him to me. I have never really known him well and only met him on a handful of occasions through Tony Bloom. He is loud for sure but also wears his heart on his sleeve which I kinda like. I also think he was treated abominably by the authorities when he was warned off. Can't imagine it happening to someone from a more privileged background and his defence was 100% legitimate.

Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: The Camel on March 28, 2013, 02:03:31 AM Has harry ever done a book? Had a book deal, but it fell through. One of his friends didn't want him to "tell all". Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: Bad Beat on March 28, 2013, 03:22:21 AM Posh guy is Julian Snow. You can find stuff about him via Google as he is a top real tennis player.
He used to be friends with Compton Hellyer and Compton was the owner of Sporting Index. After a couple of years Julian was their second biggest winner. Compton was rather embarrassed that he may have to close Julian's account so he wrote to say that he should be complemented on his skills but that they were now withdrawing from the fight. He would be welcome to use his account in the future, but after losing a couple of hundred grand they now felt his account should be limited to "recreational stakes only". He wrote back to say "I thought that was what we had been doing". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Snow_(real_tennis) Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: redarmi on March 28, 2013, 03:34:10 AM Julian Snow - that is a name from the past. Spoke to him on the phone many times when I worked at VC.....he was a cracking judge.
Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: chezzboy on March 29, 2013, 12:23:34 AM Cracking programme. I love how Harry comes across as a complete punter (helped no doubt by the editors). One thing they can't take away from him is his attitude to losing which is that of a real man! The cameraman oi oi-ing his winner at the end is just golden

1. Have a mullet 2. Refer to yourself in the third person 3. Shout "Oi oi!" a lot 4. Play tennis or real tennis 5. Eat cereal out of a washing up bowl, like that bloke from Wife Swap Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: The Camel on March 29, 2013, 02:05:13 AM To be a top pro punterer, you need to... 1. So when did he hit the big league, or did he just evolve,so the numbers he was talking seem small compared to those floated about the days. Is he still with his bird? Title: Re: Harry Findlay Post by: lee h on April 17, 2013, 05:23:43 PM To be a top pro punterer, you need to...
