Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: rfgqqabc on March 28, 2013, 02:59:28 PM is peeling IP completely horrific? I mean you can definitely make an argument for it because of the size (which is bad from him imo) but at lower stakes this just means it is the wigwams. Everytime I have done this or seen someone do it I was always like, lol just shove pre but i think it has some merits here. It is a $20 rebuy, it isn't so low stakes... and he has previously 4 bet folded. But...his hand range is likely beating AJ sooted. I spew this in so often in play, but think 5 betting is probably bad. Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: mulhuzz on March 28, 2013, 03:47:30 PM is peeling IP completely horrific? I'd peel and try and play some streets given we just about have the stack to get spr of 2 otf. I'm calling, the actual geniuses probably just muck. Don't know how good 3b-folding such a pretty hand is, but I guess it's allowable since the 4b is cold and not from orig raiser? Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: Pinchop73 on March 28, 2013, 04:31:32 PM Flat OR.
Fold now. Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: rfgqqabc on March 28, 2013, 05:47:33 PM is peeling IP completely horrific? I spew this in so often in play, but think 5 betting is probably bad. I meant at stakes lower than a 20r you see AA here all the time when its this size. The problem with hands like this is that it is so player/read/gameflow dependant. if he has 4/folded before I'd ship in his eyes sometimes and this is the nut hand to do it but you can always hit the fold button and conserve your chips. It is much more likely to be really bad than really good. Pinchop if you flat how would you react to this guys squeeze? Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: Pinchop73 on March 28, 2013, 06:18:57 PM Obv depends on OR. I mean I know he's CL but it's also his very first hand, from mp1.
With dynamics stated if Or crams I fold. If he folds, I'm 4b/jamming this. I do much better vs villains 3b squeeze range, compared to his cold min 4b range. I flatted and it came QQ6 rainbow no clubs. He then bet 22K i think ish. I will double check tomorrow WWYDN!? Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: dwayne110 on March 28, 2013, 10:04:40 PM I think we need to respect the fact he's raising over an initial early raise by the table chip leader and therefore should have a strong range of hands.... the min-raise size to me looks so strong with 2 players still in the hand to act. The fact he's already 4-bet folded can also work the other way (i.e. he's not going to it again unless he has a much stronger hand). A-Q and A-K is a decent part of his range too, so we're only truly happy with 2 pair or club flushing boards? Fold for me
Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: buffyslayer1 on March 28, 2013, 11:14:09 PM we are about 35bb effective and OR is new to table opening from MP
whats the reason to 3 bet pre? not like we have any dynamic to be 3 betting to 5 betting etc. Seems a bit thin only 35bb deep to be doing it for value because he flats worse. As at this stack depth villain is likely to jam or fold Seems like a flat IP with a hand that flops well and likely dominates his opening range Title: Re: Stars late on in $22 Rebuy AJss Post by: hotdog on March 31, 2013, 05:39:55 PM all depends on gameplay ETC,
