Title: Re: intresting irish spot Post by: Ironside on April 04, 2013, 09:48:31 PM you think keeping the 2 pair is vulnerable and maybe even behind drawing thin?
keeping the FD might be better as if we are behind we have outs and if we are against a better flush draw our queen is still in good shape and have 2 of his outs? Title: Re: intresting irish spot Post by: The Camel on April 04, 2013, 10:23:07 PM 3 card irish I would definitely keep Q2, in 4 card I would be more inclined to keep the flush draw.
Title: Re: intresting irish spot Post by: Ironside on April 04, 2013, 10:25:36 PM yeah 3 card its a no brain keep the 2 pair
Title: Re: intresting irish spot Post by: mulhuzz on April 04, 2013, 11:54:32 PM Assuming he shoves all his FDs not instead of making a weird raise -call I'm inclined to assume top and bottom isn't good and we should draw with a pair ESP since there aren't many other draws he can have...
So if we're ahead now it's probably because he has Kxdd or Axdd. Most of the time a bare Q is good here vs those hands anyway, but if we're behind to sets we have much more equity than he does when he's behind, if that makes any sense? Title: Re: intresting irish spot Post by: Ironside on April 05, 2013, 04:23:39 AM ok i took the Q8dd option and help v the a9dd but it had me thinking what other hands i could of been facing and
how i would of faired against them at time i ruled out AA KK and QQ as i would of expected a preflop raise and i wouldnt of seen the flop AKdd Axdd AQ 66 and baby diamond draws were also in range maybe even baby diamond draw and gutshot and thought that against all the hands apart from the 66 i was better off with the 2 pair than i am with flush draw it just felt at first glance that i should keep the 2 pair then as i thought about it and clock clicked i changed my mind then after hand was played out i changed it again Title: Re: intresting irish spot Post by: SuuPRlim on April 05, 2013, 12:18:07 PM btw this is closer to a fold than an AI.
