Title: Football bet - What's the best play here?
Post by: Waz1892 on April 14, 2013, 09:24:14 AM
Looking for some advice please, asked a couple of mates and some conflict, so looking at the experts on here.

Got a treble on the go today- backed Villa a Soron both to draw with Sunderland today.

Stake £5, potential winnings £221.65.

Do I let it ride, or lock some kind of nice profit by covering?  I feel it'll be a shame to lose now I've got the hard part of it in with the 2 draws!?

Suggestion is £30 on the draw at 11/5 and if Newcastle score first then back in play of still leading after 70mins

Current odds are 10/11 newc win 11/5 draw

As always with these, if you were gonna lay off why bother putting this leg as part of the multiple in the first place? :)

Your fiver is now worth £45 and is a bet on sunderland @ odds of 4.6.

If you fancy them at these odds, let it ride!

I get your point completely, the bet was a cheeky fiver bet not one that I overly thought about tbh, now I'm here, be nice to secure some cash that was all! But point taken

Just bet on games with same finish time if your going to be placing cover bets. Pointless.
