Title: Moisturiser for men
Post by: nirvana on April 25, 2013, 01:44:00 PM
I've started moisturising recently.

So far I've invested £1.80 in a pot of Nivea - should I be buying a more expensive product ?

How is your current product performing? Which of these best compares to the softness of your face?

a) Baby's bottom
b) Badger's back
c) Mexican's arsehole

tbf, I have pretty good skin, oily, swarthy. I'm nearer a) than b)

Bit early to say with current product. 2 days in and I've noticed slightly less flaking in the between eyebrow area but I'm guessing this is standard

Is this a thread where I can safely talk about hair straighteners and the like without being mocked?

I doubt it.

Of course, nothing wrong with us chaps looking our best for the ladies or even for our own self esteem

Go to a generic department store and head for the orangest people there. That would be the Clinique stand.

Facial scrub is good for oily skin because it gets rid of all the daily muck. That or a facial wash, which is less abrasive.

Then you want a Scuffing Lotion (2.5 strength, for example).

Finally, the moisturiser I use is MLotion.

3 pronged attack.

With the added bonus of receiving a gift pack when they're running their special offers.

Yep.  Chicks love them.  My Mom used to stock up when they were doing the gift promo...even if she didn't need anything.   rotflmfao

Nivea is what I use to counterbalance the impact of horrendous lifestyle choices....mine is more like £3.78 a tub though....so it may be the advanced model

Glen, is it true (Vinny told me) that you've been getting 'spray tans' recently?

I told Sellick that Henderson just had jaundice.

lol at whitey.

Given my ancestry won't pass any 4th generation tests, I do tan rather well with a very modest amount of UV exposure. Another reason for the adoption of the Nivea to avoid the onset of raisinism.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning that you were descended from Emily Bronte's favourite pet goat.

From now on, I'll call you Billy!
