Hello fine sir,

I would like to sell a package to the higher events on my SCOOP schedule in 2 separate packages.

I am Patrick Leonard, a (yes I can say this now :D) full time poker player and coach.  I have quite a lot recently in the market place, 3 of my most recent packages have been a final table in the 100r on Ongame, a 20-30th finish in the Sunday Million and a 19th in WPT Marbella, all 3 schedules had very deep runs and I paid out promptly to all investors. I have a immaculate market place history with over £100,000 successful trades or buys. Financial references would be Jamie Sykes, Matt Perrins and I have lots of other transactions with people such as James Keys, Alex Goulder (bink reminds me he owes me v small amount :D) amongst others.

Last year I sold a package and came 10th in the biggest event of the package for a pretty sick sweat when we were 2/10.

This package is high variance, has 2 rebuy tournaments, one of which is a turbo and a HU event. I think the markup is reasonable because of the huge prizepools and the edge I expect to have on the field, I will be keeping 60% of the action so will have a lot of incentive to do very well as will be investing a decent amount + can win a lot.

Package 2:

I would like to sell for a one off, high variance tournament that I believe I have a good edge in. My view is that tournament players have major leaks at 6max tournaments. Basic fundamentals such as opening ranges are often thrown out of the window and people generally play pretty poorly. I do however understand that this field will have lots of very good players and lots of very good cash game players too. I'm very confident in my 6max game so even though this is a huge bi, I will buy in no matter how much I sell. It needs 500 players to meet the guarantee and there will of course be regular satalites, its the very first SCOOP so I think it will attract more "randoms" than normal.

I initially disregarded the 500r as I figured LOL expensive etc.

I just realised that it is actually an action hour. Looking closer I see that it is actually  6max action hour.


Looking at the structure, I would get $3000 + $3000 + $5000 chips, meaning we would get 11000 chips. After the 1 hour blinds, it re-sets and the blinds are

My main edge comes from playing deepstacked vs MTT players, it realises further in 6max.

The clock is 30 minutes, meaning this is just an insane deep tournament and will have a lot of play

The buy in would be $1530 I would sell at 1.11 meaning the buy in would be $1683, rounded down to $1680..

I would let everybody in the thread have a % if they want, if they dont then ofc I understand, its a high buy in tournament and its just 1 tournament. I do think that there is a lot of value here, the guarantee is $500,000, I don't imagine the 6max cash game players to realise this as I had initially missed it and I have been following scoop carefully.

Hi guys,

I busted yesterday and didn't cash. Will try to give a short summary/

We had a very good table, I would say 4 ok regs who played pretty weak, usually in 6max people over adjust in 2 ways which makes it profitable for us.

1) They 3bet too much and go crazy
2) They start playing way too many pots and expanding their ranges from early position

Both of the above are very high variance and means that its +ev to play against, but its either stack or bust time.

The problem that these guys had was they called incorrect ranges OOP, meaning it was really easy to play against as I played a bunch of pots in position, with initiaitve and position + initiative = profit in 6max.

We chipped up to around 18k earlyish and felt like was playing pretty much perfectly.

UTG who had chipped down to arouuuuund 3.5 from the 10k starting opened, he has around 20bbs and I had an aggresive image, so it was a really easy 3b/call with 88, he had AK and won the race.

Pretty quickly afterwards he has chipped up again and I put pre flop pressure on him with AK, obviously AK is always a monster, but when he knows I've previously 3bet a hand like 88, he could easily just spaz jam AQ/AJ/AT, KQ, KJ, KTs etc so I was really fistpumping, he ripped it in and unfortunately he had TT and we couldnt win another race.

I then played a hand where I called a 3bet with 76cc and peeled one on k84, turn was a 2 and river a J, I bet 1/3 pot and AQ called, pretty hard for me to have many bluffs here, maybe 5-6 combs and I certainly have dozens of value combos, so hated his call, but wp, owned nh.

We then chipped down a little bit more before shoving BB v BTN who had previously won 2 flips vs me with KQo, he called with A7 after a lot of deliberation and we busted.

Very sad to bust, but I think that I played well and it was great value. 6max tournaments are imo the softest online, relatively at least and will continue to try and play them moving forward.

For package 1) We have the $109r turbo tonigh, obviously also extremely high variance, so lets hope we can run good at the right times.

If I lose the first 2 bis lateish then I won't rebuy. Looking now:

My plan was to let him bluff his chips off to me. He busted the 100k highroller in Monaco literally a couple of hours ago and assumed hed be in full monkey mode.

I really dont like his play with AJ as my ranges is really weak and I have almost no Ax in my range and all my perceived Kx is supposed to bet the turn.
