Unless you decide to change or cancel it.

How can you guarantee something and still reserve the right to change or cancel it?

It makes no sense whatsoever.

I have noticed that dtd are also doing satalites for the genting tour!  are they being run independently from genting?   ie... if you enter the dtd genting qualifiers are you competing against the players who have registered through genting site itself???

Same players, you can enter the sats from the DTD lobby though (allows you to play the ISPT satellites at the same time...)

Genting Poker Series Super Sat Week, starts tonight with an 8pm, 5 seats GTD Super sat. Its better value than betting on Moyes for the United job, as we have a sneeky little suspicion that there will be an overlay......

Both day 1s were a full house last time. Fridays are always also way busier in general, so day 1A if you want a quiet one

You can, I think you can do it via the live support feature in the iPoker client (I did it last year)

thanks Dave much appreciated.  She will try now..... Its a shame she will not play live as she is an excellent player (really solid) but hate the banter with live play.  I dragged her down kicking and screaming to the local casino a few times and on both occasions has won the poker tornament!!

Im pretty sure the answer to this would  be No

If the answer is yes it would obv be open to abuse , with people potentially multi accounting for seats playing  on " their partners " accounts  etc

Unless it's changed since the last one in October, the answer is yes. I bought a seat won by satellite at a reduced rate, and Genting facilitated the transfer (but the money was exchanged privately).

That means "Mr and Mrs Smith" can both enter the same tourney and Mr Smith can play the event from whichever account wins a seat ?    kind of  stinks

Not doubting what youre saying happened Barry   .  I maybe wrong but pretty sure this is not common practice.

I think in a satellite where the prizes are usually flat and  between 1-in-5 and 1-in-10 win, the prizes are not worth cheating for compared to a normal MTT where the top prize is much bigger.

Also lots of seats were guaranteed, so playing twice would actually go against the value of the overlay.

Not of course that means its not likely people will cheat, some people collude in double or nothings after all, but its probably low risk considering the prizes on offer being not worth cheating for.

to answer the allegation of cheating, we live in the same house and only one account can play the tournament qualifiers at any one time due to the security and ip address!!!
she actually won the seat while I was in London playing the IPO.
I assume that if u can sell seats then it should be allowed. thanks for the advice dave!

No worries,

FYI it's obvious Fraser never actually accused you of cheating, he was clearly talking about the situation in the hypothetical and not your particular circumstances. Most poker rooms don't allow seat transfers, including a lot of iPoker rooms, I think Genting are the exception.

Didn't know they had changed the structure until I got there 5 mins into level 1 to see my table playin 50-100!!! Was told 25/50 had been taken out and replaced with 250/500. Anybody know why and if it changed the comp much as unfortunately I didn't make it to that level....

More play when your deeper and it actually matters, than at the start when everyone is bored playing meaninglessly small pots with a gazillion big blinds.

Found the structure was excellent throughout. Good comp.
