Title: OT - Recommend Some Music Post by: NoflopsHomer on January 20, 2006, 07:25:53 PM I pretty much always listen to my iPod when I'm playing online, so I thought we could have a thread to recommend bands/songs to each other.
The rules are 10 songs all by different artists/bands. Mine are: Son of Sam - Elliot Smith Make It Rain - Tom Waits The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah The Party's Crashing Us Now - Of Montreal Side 2 - Dressy Bessy Emily Kane - Art Brut Shake It For Me - Howlin' Wolf Alan is a Cowboy Killer - McLusky Run For Your Life - Robert Randolph and the Family Band So Says I - The Shins Title: Re: OT - Recommend Some Music Post by: Bongo on January 20, 2006, 07:31:23 PM I'm going to base this 100% on stats of what i've listened to over the last year, so here's the top 10 songs by different artists:

Title: Re: OT - Recommend Some Music Post by: NoflopsHomer on January 20, 2006, 07:39:32 PM Wow. how uncool am i... i've only heard of a couple of them. Don't worry, I've only chosen bands I thought most people wouldn't have heard of, otherwise my list would be full of Talking heads, Beach Boys... Let's see your list! Title: Re: OT - Recommend Some Music Post by: Bongo on January 20, 2006, 07:42:43 PM Rilo Kiley? Damn, now I want to change my list, I'd completely forgot about them. I'd be like that if I thought about my list... Well actually I'd just spend hours trying to narrow the list down and never actually succeed. Title: Re: OT - Recommend Some Music Post by: MrMoves on January 20, 2006, 07:43:26 PM Stick me on the un-cool list, I've no idea who that lot are :D
