Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: outragous76 on May 15, 2013, 08:52:02 AM peeling 3b's is obviously different to peeling an open and I would suggest is dynamic driven. I wouldnt advocate it as a common strategy, but I obvioulsy do it on occasion in the right spots.
I usually have a good idea of how I am going to proceed as well (given villlain tendancies and history). Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Doobs on May 15, 2013, 08:58:27 AM Dem manz good regs like to fold. They iz multiz tablez innit. Do we know what dem cards are?
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: youthnkzR on May 15, 2013, 11:17:13 AM Totally depends on villains stats / our hand.
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: pleno1 on May 15, 2013, 12:13:40 PM Totally depends on villains stats / our hand. random opponent, no reads and question is what parts of our range do we passively defend vacuum spot innit. Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Pinchop73 on May 15, 2013, 12:22:50 PM Range won't be particularly wide to peel a mp 3b this early. TT+/ATs/Aqo. Don't have a 4b range. Just my thoughts.

Not defending that much here, the KQs/AQs etc, pretty premium shizzle. 321 to see 1370? Good price but he is strong Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: pleno1 on May 15, 2013, 12:48:23 PM when u say kq and aq, u are obviously defending some pairs tho too
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: rfgqqabc on May 15, 2013, 12:53:48 PM when u say kq and aq, u are obviously defending some pairs tho too Yeah but not much unsuited shizzle. Tbf, it seems like I'm peeling a decent % of my opens here overall, but only cos im opening tight anyway. Although you did have some weaker guys on your table which might mean i open a bit wider in some spots.Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Bertpup on May 16, 2013, 03:56:49 AM Why are people so hesitant to play flops. Just flick it in
Surely its better to peel our weaker holdings such as suited connectors than stuff like A10, AQ etc.. Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: SuuPRlim on May 16, 2013, 01:33:24 PM unless id opened a really shit hand like T6o i'd be calling almost everything here.
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: pleno1 on May 16, 2013, 01:35:39 PM unless id opened a really shit hand like T6o i'd be calling almost everything here. interesting. im not opening nearly as wide as t6o obv. I had a9s and folded iirc. Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Dubai on May 16, 2013, 01:37:04 PM Id probably call 100% of hands I opened.
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: pleno1 on May 16, 2013, 01:45:25 PM just checked, I had A7ss.
I remember wanting to peel, I'm opening a pretty strong range here and A7s one of those that just found its way into it I think. Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Dubai on May 16, 2013, 01:47:05 PM I defo prefer K7ss to A7ss here, I might fold the later, never folding K7ss
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Pinchop73 on May 16, 2013, 01:56:23 PM I defo prefer K7ss to A7ss here, I might fold the later, never folding K7ss You peel ATo right? You peel A4s? Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Dubai on May 16, 2013, 02:04:56 PM I mean A4ss is better than ATos
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: SuuPRlim on May 16, 2013, 02:10:53 PM obviously no1 should be opening T6o, just saying the only way i'd be folding is if I'd for some reason opened something truly horrific.
A7ss I'd be calling fo sure Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Dubai on May 16, 2013, 02:13:35 PM Scoop 1ks are super soft because no one can/and or wants to play postflop, and the tournys are really slow and deep. So obviously best thing to do is play loads postflop and ignore the high variance 5/6betting pre that all the "good" (terrible) regs try to do. I probably wouldn't have a 4betting range here nor a fold to 3b range, few players will ever assume the former, no one will assume the later. But I might open fold ATos as prefer to open a little tighter and fold to 3 and 4bs never/rarely
Title: Re: peeling oop in mtts Post by: Dubai on May 16, 2013, 02:17:25 PM Don't really want to post much more on it, because all I read at the moment is "expect him to 3/5 or 3/f, or r/4 or r/f" so I tend to do the opposite of what people expect and feel comfortable against.
