Title: Being a fish: B/C AQo £1/£2 Post by: Oxford_HRV on May 17, 2013, 09:48:52 PM as the title says, i went for it with Ad Qh on 9c 4s 3h
It's my BB and Villain is playing BTN he opens to 16 we call in the vein hope we flop the world and he gifts. I decided to lead into the flop for 25 and he pauses then puts 8X25's in the pot the game was live shorthanded 6> players and villain was playing £400~ the villain was calling 4 card straights OTR to sizeable bets £35-45~ (to see winning hand? i saw his, but he mucks face down) has a tendancy to go all in with what can be just overs to the board. (varies between bluffs and made hands) we are new to the game, bought in for 70, playing 110 in this hand. probably look uncomfortable villain is table captain yes im being a fish here, but i wasnt able to spend more than 1hr at the table had one buyin Flame. On the surface it looks like a trainwreck all round but there's half a chance its actually ok. By default, 3bet preflop for sure and if you dont 3bet c/f the flop. Title: Re: Being a fish: B/C AQo £1/£2 Post by: kano on May 18, 2013, 04:15:39 AM 3b/ get it in pre, you have 55 bigs.
Title: Re: Being a fish: B/C AQo £1/£2 Post by: pleno1 on May 18, 2013, 10:01:28 AM Pre flop seems real bad if you want to do a spazzy induce for stacks then check raise call would be best but as
Played I don't think that's where we get our edge from vs these players. |
