Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: Div on June 21, 2005, 10:07:52 PM Just spotted this thread. I WAS in as The Sevillian.
Out in 53rd :( Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: tikay on June 21, 2005, 10:18:18 PM Nice one Div - you got the idea! Unlucky? On second thoughts, don't answer that...... Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: Div on June 21, 2005, 10:22:42 PM Heh. Just realised how that looks. I never actually posted the rant, I edited it to amend my final position from 54th to 53rd. Don't wanna hide my light under a bushel;D ;)
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: Robert HM on June 21, 2005, 11:01:24 PM Got kicked out in 44th QQ found KK to play with and got bloodied. RedSimon still in and 20 left of 405.
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: redsimon on June 21, 2005, 11:07:31 PM Currently 15/15 with just over 1 orbit left before I'm anted out
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: tikay on June 21, 2005, 11:08:13 PM Unlucky Robert, but it'd be nice if Red done it, he deserves a change of luck, he's had a rough ride lately, one way and another.
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: Robert HM on June 21, 2005, 11:08:55 PM Watching you simon. Good Luck
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: redsimon on June 21, 2005, 11:15:50 PM 36 in bb 2 limp, I wimp check. Flop A48 I pass a 2000 bet by sb. K7 in sb I go allin for 1010 mre two call flop KA6 foe has A6 and I'm out 15th....Good game though. Had KK once JJ 4 times (in bb every time!) and generally enjoyed it. Think i know why I prefer Omaha though :D
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: Robert HM on June 21, 2005, 11:18:02 PM Nice going Simon, watched to the end. Just think, if that was the biggy, you would have been in the money, I would have bubbled.
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: tikay on June 21, 2005, 11:38:56 PM As long as you enjoyed it, then it was a victory of sorts. A lovely approach to the game. Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: Robert HM on June 21, 2005, 11:43:59 PM ....and don't forget, there's another one tomorrow, and Thursday if you have nothing better to do, then Friday and Final on Saturday.

Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: Robert HM on June 21, 2005, 11:49:37 PM Thanks for telling us about the comp, good on yer. It was a little difficult to cheer on the Forest emblem but I suppose I will have to find a Magpie for next time. Are you a Derbyite?
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: pokerram on June 21, 2005, 11:53:05 PM yes mate at least the magpies are the best team in nottingham followed by your reserves
Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: patman on June 22, 2005, 08:22:44 AM hi,
got busted out when short stacked on a9 suited against bb with QQ an no other callers. 95 of god knows how many....good education and some seriously crazy mad card players early doors that would call go all in wi the sawdust off the floor enjoyed it though 3 disconnects shows site problems.... on another useless note saw a bmw 5 series in motherwell...near glasgow for the notts folk....license plate "ALL IN". Wonder how much that cost him and if he`s a serious player or just lucky to get the plate Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: tikay on June 22, 2005, 08:31:08 AM 3 disconnects? What site was that on? I kniow Stars had a serious server problem on Sunday - a rarity for them. And I could not connect to Stars at all yesterday, which was the first time I had ever experienced such a prob with hem. But it's fine now. POKER STARS last night the metro comp....they actually put up on the screen that they were experiencing technical difficulties so thats fair comment. After about 15 minutes it seemed to be fine...that aside i dont think it affected anthing except my patience so no need for a rant. ;) and congrats to red simon and unlucky not to get further. Title: Re: any blondites in it Post by: tikay on June 22, 2005, 09:32:05 AM That's the spirit. Onwards and upwards.
