Oh dear Heid I think you're in for a tough night.

According to Charmaine the players will only need normal good fortune, but to update you need guidance from on high!

No wonder all these updaters keep saying its hard work!

OK all - Dingdell here as Heid has gone off to have a fag after typing all those names in. Dan (Gatso)  in charge of camera so we'll see what he comes back with....

Thee from Thine barry Neville down to 8000, says tonight he cant hit a barn door - but dont worry about me love - I'll still be in at the end.  (Ahhh sweet)

Table 8 - flop comes Q 9 4 all diamonds. All check - another queen comes which results in three all ins. One Jack flush, one ace flush and a resulting full house for Warren when the board pairs. Only one went out - but the other went fairly soon after.

Mrs Bambos on the same table who is keeping her head down but is very pleased about her result last night.

NEWSFLASH

Flushy is the third person out - telling his tale of woe as we speak and photo coming of him surrendering. We are leaving him to type his own report when he calms down - hes played one hand only and been an entire rock..

Dingdell here - the gorgeous Hennig (who looks like he has just got out of the shower) has gone down from 24000 to 9000. He had Kings flop comes 2 blanks and a queen.  Hennig checks - other two check. Next card a 10.  Two other players both go all in - one has pocket queens, the other has Q 10. Blank on the river - Hennig looses a whole load of money but admits that it gives him something to do - otherwise he might have got bored.....there is the optimism of the scandinavians.

Another great result - Grosvenor have just given us dinner tickets for the buffet so we are all getting fed....could someone please pass that news on to Snippy please ;-)

Dingdell here - notable hands:

Bambos all in with  Ad  2d a flop of   7d 4s 3h turn  6s and river of   5d giving him  straight and back up to 3,000.

Phil Cooklin knocked out with the following:

He flat called with a pair of eights.  Flop comes A 8 2.
Phil checks, matey boy bets 600. Phil reraises to 1600. Matey boy goes all in and Phil calls. Matey boy has A " and another A comes on the river to give him a full house.

Dingdell here - Wardonkey was up to 13000. Had pocket rockets and laid them down after a reraise from Chris Bruce. Cris had a straight on a rainbow flop - what a lay down.

Another Chris Bruce story - who is on 19000 and says hello to his wife.
He had aces UTG.Raised it to 300 , reraised by JP to 2800. Chris went all in and JP folded with pocket kings. Chris very upset as his table is full of rocks.

I like that raise by JP, Chris has to have aces to commit.

Dingdell here - Heid just took a photo of elblondie without using the flash as she didnt want him to get sunburnt......

Simon Nowab looking very sick chip wise. Very short stacked - just went all in with a board of  6 A 4 10 10 - no callers so mde a few chips- stack built up and loking a lot happier.cant get close enough for a count at the mo...

Daniel Samson out - had pair of 10's called by Q 9.flop comes Q Q so this takes a lot of his chips. Next hand he is in SB with pockt threes. 6 limpers - pushes all in - onlt has 1300 left - gets called by A J. Board comes  6h Kc 2d 6s Ks so last king counterfeits his pair and the ace kicker takes it.  he's hitting the blackjack tables to get rid of his frustration.

The lovely Michael Greco who ha not been playing much poker as he has had acting commitments tried to get a sattelite ticket yesterday but went home early so bought in for today. Stack looking a bit sick - commited ore of his chips on a board of 4 of hearts, 8 of clubs, 10 of spade and 6 of spades. Matey boy bets another 500 and after several minutes of dwelling Greco folds - a pic coming from Dan soon....

Hi Dingdell here - 88 players left. Its starting to get interesting as different stacks start to grow.Alan Maclean moved to another table and dominating a bit - Mrs Bambos just lost 4000 because she couldnt put A Q down when sheknew she was behind.....she has gone off for a cigarette and I have pulled bammbos over to talk to her to tell her how to play him. She was getting a bit frustrated but he's told her to check to him all the time and when she has something just push it all in.

ok competition time. Tighty has had three all ins without a caller. Wants the forum to guess how many all ins he will have before he gets a caller. he really has only that one move left at the moment......Heid bets its 6,I reckon another 2 maximum. any other takers?

Pokerroom has gone very quiet  - most of the noise is coming from the roulette wheels - quite surreal.

Likely that 50 will come back tomorrow as the casino has to close by 4 and after that it will be  along game until the final table. Depending on the short stacks some people think it will 11pm on Sunday before we get to the final table......

Just had a very tense hand featuring Lional Flaum (sorry about spelling) and Robert Cooper.Board is 4H , 5H, 6D, 7H and Js. Lionel bets 3000 a long time after the river card has been dealt, Robert dwells for almost as long and eventually calls. Lionel shows A of spades and 8 of hearts, Robert shows Ace of clubs and 8 of spades - result a split pot but we all thought someone had the flush.....

I wish I wish - as soon as I started the call went for them all to go back to their tables and he broke into a run......

Tighty has had another all in without a call- thats 4 and according to Dan he is now just staring into space vacantly - no change there then.....

Gone very quiet here - we thought it would as the players have been fed and have gone into that 'afternoon' phase, eventually one of them will wake up to a hand and we'll let you know about it.Its probably the right time for Tighty to do his all ins as I dont think anyone has really noticed....Heids off to seek out any news and we'll report back on either the poker or her win on the slots - which ever comes first.  :D

Some news - there has been a hand played......

Jo Grech has taken out George McKiver (no dinner or drinks involved) with A K vs A 9.
Board goes Q K 10 9 and a blank to dash any hopes of a straight....

Tighty news - his last allin was with A 7 and he was called.......with A Q, Heid says TE is stilli as he made his flush on theriver because he is a fish and fish swim in rivers. he proudly held up a purple chip (thank goodness it was a chip....) and showed it to Heid.....the story continues and IFM I think is the winner.

Mrs bambos has 12000 but is holding her own with Alan Mclean raising to her left.

Controversy on his table - a marked card has been discovered - the three of clubs so a deck change has been ordered.  We are getting his chip count - Chubbs has over 20000 but M3boy wont stop rifling his chips so we can count it but he has consierable less than Chubbs.....we'll get back to you when his nervous riffle stops....

Daniel Samson reports an all in from JP instantly called by mateyboy. Both turn over Kings and split the pot....

Daniels tip for the winner - King Ali Malloo - you heard it here first!  8)

M3Boy out - raises - marbella kid Paul Zimmler puts him all in - and M3boy calls turning over pocket jacks - marbella kid had K K and the flop comes K 8 8 with another king for good measure on the river  M3 out to quad kings......

A little story Miss Coren shared with us from her exit. Having not seen a hand for 3 hours she sat down first hand after the break and started to send Neil Channing a text predicting she would finally be dealt a hand but go out with it. She then looked down to see AK, of course the money went in, mateyboy turned over QQ and Vicky was able to walk the 10 metres to tell Neill in person

Ding here- all of a sudden the room has come alive - the air conditioning has gone cold and the players are wakingup.

2 allins - 1st involvingJP and another player on guess what - table 8......,  Board shows 5c Js 2d 9d 9s  Jp has  Ts  Ks matey boy has  9h and doubles up.  Jp chips are dwindling but still 2nd on his table.

next all in - player goes out....

Player on table 9 goes all in and is called by paul Zimmler  Paul has  8d 7d and announces he is gambling, matey boy has  Aspades 5s.

Board comes out  8c Kd 6d Qd Td 8s. Paul catches another one and adds to his chip count....at last some action!!

Ding here action on table 8 again...it really has been the table of death tonight....

Mrs Bambos looked very shortstacked abut had 2 5000 chips hidden at the bottom of her stack- had 18000 and just won a 24000 pot to get her up to 30000.

hand was  4s  2d Ts , all money went in after the flop matey boy all in for 12000.  Mrs B shows  Tc  Qc  matey boy shows  4c  8h

Turn came  7h with a river  7d.

Mrs bambos is sooo on form this week - playing really aggressively and having a great game!!

JP who is down to 8000.....how did that happen - we are not sure and we will ask him to fill us in in time or get him to do his own post.

Mike Mclean is holding a lot of the chips and i think he's playing against JP in a way JP isnt really used to- with agression!

We wait with bated breath for him to looose it all.....

Tighty on 19000 from 6000.Not sure how he's done that - suspect that when he pointed out that large albatross flying through the casino his intention was to distract the other players and nick some of their chips... ;scarymoment;

3pm start tomorrow Tom :) 5k chips 30 mins clock 100 quid freezeout ... 3pm is start time for second day .. 8pm is start time for 100 quidder

Heid here BTW....

Now then Mr End is on 37k...I went off to play slots ... he won, happened earlier as well .. this may be a sign...

Anyway .... quite an amazing hand by the sounds of it 967 on flop .. almost a family hand 6 in ...

TE has trip 7's... rasies bets to him to 12k....

Scares off top trips who thought TE had a straight!

I think that is worth an Ayyyyaaaarrrrrrr!!!!

JP's 45,000 chips have dwindled to zero.

Dingdell here - notable hands:

Bambos all in with  Ad  2d a flop of   7d 4s 3h turn  6s and river of   5d giving him  straight and back up to 3,000.

Board is a straight so sounds like his opponent was robbed :D

Good luck to you all today - may fortune not vomit on your collective eiderdowns, nor the winds of misfortune push a small but annoying draft under your doors of fate.

Oh..and Heids?  I'll pay good money for you NOT to post any photos of that Greco. I've seen a nude of him before in a magazine;  he was wearing a hat and covering his 'areas' with one hand. He has small hands.

OOOps - in the cold light of day you are right - it was just an intentional error to see if you were watching - you get a prize for the first person to spot it.....cough cough.....

Obviously I did a typo in the excitement - I ran back from his table to type the results after thumping the air with excitement that Bambos was still in. Believe me - he won the hand with the only straight :blonde:

Bambos was lovely to me in my first major competition at Palm Beach a year ago - saw me flagging a bit and let me into a little secret he has for keeping awake and the senses alive when playing in a long comp........I will never reveal but it was legal and got me to the last 2 tables........a true gentleman, always a kind word, good humoured, friendly, polite, everything a poker player isnt supposed to be.......

Dingdell here - notable hands:

Bambos all in with  Ad  2d a flop of   7d 4s 3h turn  6s and river of   5d giving him  straight and back up to 3,000.

Board is a straight so sounds like his opponent was robbed :D

Tracey

Im just hoping my prize isn't a free colonic :D :D
