Title: Unfortunate computer poker errors
Post by: Dingdell on January 21, 2006, 05:25:27 PM
Chip leader on PS freeroll to $500K gteed on  Sunday. I prize - 14 players left. batteries on my mouse go (I think) so I run to change the battery.

Hole cards 6 9 o/s.
Player goes all in for $1560. Blinds $25/$50.

As i am changing my batteries the mouse somehow clicks on call and the rest is history - his pocket 9's stand up and I am wounded.  The main wound was the other players asking me why I was calling.....and it took me a few minutes before I could answer as the mouse still wasnt working.....except to activate the "call any" button it was stuck on....... exit left.....

Anyone else?!

First time I tried multi-tabling it got too much for me, I saw on one game I had KK, typed in the raise and then went back to the other game, anyway, I went to see how my kings were getting on and it turns out I hadn't actually pressed the raise button, just typed in the amount so I was 'sitting out' Arrrrgggghh!!

Playing a tournament on Ladbrokes, get AA on the button but the dogs really need to go out and are whining by the door.

UTG raises for half my stack so I click the raise-any box and go out with the dogs. I get back in to find that I'm sitting out (as expected) but that I have the number of chips I started with... checking the logs, someone else has moved in before me, thus negating my ability to raise and removing those little check-boxes :( Turns out UTG's KK beats MP's QQ without improvement.

not big money but it didn't make me happy.
