Title: JJ
Post by: zerofive on June 26, 2013, 04:09:49 PM
Mental £1/2 @ dusk

Hero is in the £8 straddle with the £16 straddle on. Shortstack moves all-in utg for £87. Villain 1 is Raggy (for those who don't know, this is no misnomer) who calls playing £200 behind. Rastafish moves all-in for £450. What do you do with JJ here? I guess this is basically a question of where your line is. QQ+, AKo, AKs not even close imo. JJ and AQs on the line for me. TT and AQo are folds. Thoughts?

This is the sort of spot that is impossible to give advice on in a HH post, because it is so dependent on game texture and in particular how Rastafish is playing at the time. It is really just a simple question of assigning Rasta (and the other players) a range and only you can do this since you were the one present at the table.

Sometimes TT is such an easy get-in when the game goes crazy, other times I'd be folding QQ. Just depends how the villains have adjusted to the dynamic of the game.

Being present at the time, I thought all that action and Sean still wants to put it in with Jacks. Not played much with Rastafish post heater but from what I remember he's not that OOL.
