Title: nut flush draw facing massive bet and call
Post by: Ironside on June 26, 2013, 05:02:07 PM
ok i trebled up on 3rd hand when kk>QQ>JJ
i have found the key too these turbos is building a stack early so you can bully the nits later
so i already have a powerfull stack and will still have twice average if i miss my draw
but 3xaverage is so much better than 2x average and 5x average is massive and an average stack when we get too FT

knowing than my ace is not going too be good as i am likely against KK or AA and a set is this a snap fold or easy call as i am getting 2-1 with the caller

obvioulsy without the caller its a snap fold

i think the maths say you have too call in a cash game marginally but in a MTT? where chips equal power

Fold pre, doubt you can play this profitably out of position.

I think the flop is a fold as well, I recognise both villains as regulars and the caller is pretty nitty from recollection, so 22 and 99 here a lot in my experience therefore having redraws against your outs. Therefore not giving us purely 2 to 1, having said that it is probably close mathematically either way.

cheers longy i havent worked out the regs yet or worked out how too use a HUD
and experimenting with 6 table so not quite getting all the info i am used too too getting from 4 table
opener had KK caller qq

cash game even on there backs i think i call if playing inside my bankroll i think tourny dynamitics make it harder choice

Lol misuse of the the word regular, he plays regularly doesn't mean he is good!
