Title: Riverbet
Post by: jjandellis on June 29, 2013, 11:19:41 PM
I am running 34/26 (about 70 hands) and villain is 13/11 (but only over about 120 hands)

Poker Stars $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players - http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2248167
The DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

CO: $205.32
BTN: $258.15
Hero (SB): $226.16
BB: $108.97
UTG: $200.00
UTG+1: $111.40
UTG+2: $77.00
MP1: $287.41
MP2: $83.00

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is SB with Jc Qc
6 folds, BTN raises to $4, Hero calls $3, BB calls $2

Flop: ($12.00) Qh Ks 3d (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($12.00) Jd (3 players)
Hero bets $6, BB folds, BTN calls $6

River: ($24.00) 3s (2 players)
Hero bets $18

Thoughts on streets, but mainly what u betting on the river?

Think I was about 55% on the turn but by river:

http://www.pokerstrategy.com
Board: QhKs3dJd3s
   Equity   Win   Tie
UTG   51.56%   51.04%   0.52%   { 77+, A9s+, KTs+, QTs+, ATo+, KQo }
UTG+1   48.44%   47.92%   0.52%   { QcJc }

Kinda wondering if I shoulda dropped my river bet to $11-12

15 seems good

Not sure I like calling preflop from the sb, were not closing the action and have a pretty hand that plays badly vs a 'possibly tighter' player... meaning more reverse implied odds and no idea about the streets.

the hand samples are irrelevant for preflop until you get to 500 ish.

as played, agree with pleno.. river should be a little smaller
