Title: WSOP 1k preflop spot
Post by: cambridgealex on June 30, 2013, 11:59:57 PM
Man in the 60-90 age bracket limps MP for 150 at 75/150, playing 2k

Youngish fishy looking guy (sorry don't know what else to say) raises from hijack to 600 playing 3k

I have 99 in bb playing 5200.

The limper looks vweak and the raiser strong.

fold and preserve chips imo. Too many icky spots and were not getting a good price on a pure setmine, dont like getting it in pre either. Limper can jam and be iso'd etc just seems nothing great can happen.

Given you've stated the raiser looks strong it's gotta be mucked I reckon, such an awkward stack to do anything without committing fully, flatting being the worst option imo.

I'd : Fold > shove > raise to 1200-1300ish (with view to calling re-shove ofc) > call
