Post by: jjandellis on July 01, 2013, 08:48:40 PM
OK so in $11 Deepstack..sitting about 8/280/520

This hand might set the scene about 4 or 5 hands previous to hand in question:

Poker Stars $10+$1 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t100/t200 Blinds - 9 players - http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2249349
The DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

CO: t8720       43.60 BBs
BTN: t5101       25.50 BBs
Hero (SB): t27108       135.54 BBs
BB: t12660       63.30 BBs
UTG: t5720       28.60 BBs
UTG+1: t19536       97.68 BBs
UTG+2: t5255       26.27 BBs
MP1: t18349       91.75 BBs
MP2: t3690       18.45 BBs

Pre Flop: (t300) Hero is SB with Ah Ks
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to t440, 4 folds, BTN calls t440, Hero calls t340, BB raises to t12660 all in, 2 folds

I just flatted the AK and then folded as still reasonably early doors...

Then this:

BTN: t5255       26.27 BBs
SB: t17643       88.22 BBs
BB: t3690       18.45 BBs

Pre Flop: (t300) Hero is UTG+2 with Js Jh
UTG raises to t400, 1 fold, Hero raises to t1000, 4 folds, SB calls t900, 1 fold, UTG raises to t8320 all in

We should?????

Only very small hand sample on guy...about 13 difference between vpip n pfr....has been 3b 3 times previous by various..has folded, flatted and raised. So readless.

Little worried about biggish stack behind.

I don't think I can find the fold button with AK.

Don't love it but I'm probably isoing the JJ, wouldn't be worried too much about the flatter, guys will just flat with whatever a lot of the time.  If he does have it, flop a set.

Never folding, bonus is if you lose less likely have to play till 9am to play it out

If I'd regged this tournament I'd probably still fold this time because we have such a big stack and with the field/structure. If he does it any more times its still a call despite this. Might even call this time with AK, people do ridiculous shit when they realise the structure.

Isoing JJ but depends exactly on SB with what I do but given what you said pretty happy isolating and hoping he doesn't have queens.

i'd probably flat pre as default and go with it now
but unreg pre-tournament imo
