Title: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: theprawnidentity on July 03, 2013, 10:27:23 AM Going to start grinding again tonight after 3 months off and was planning to continue with TN1 as I heard that TN2 was absolute shite about 6 weeks ago. Does anyone know if this is still the case or have they done some updates and is it now worth upgrading?
FWIW I dont plan to multi-client from the outset, just grind stars 180s / turbo MTT's and I don't use the SNG Sensei function, usually just click reg myself so I can control the number of tables. Presume you know that Stars has integrated hotkeys? I only use TN for betsizing and auto sitting back in really. Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: theprawnidentity on July 03, 2013, 11:10:42 AM Yeh I tried using them but tough to change when you've played with the same set up for the last 2 years!!! I pretty much use Ninja for the handle registration popups, auto bet sizing, time bank, table positioning and action keys. Oh, and auto info tab.

Probs worth trying it, the bet sizing didn't work at all well a few weeks ago but if they've fixed that I'm sure all that other stuff should be working. Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: BALOTELLI9O on July 17, 2013, 11:20:01 AM Not worth it yet, although TN1 will be phased out within the next few months so TN2 will be a necessity.

I am happy with tn1 at the moment but when it breaks I will do something. Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: theprawnidentity on October 16, 2013, 11:51:19 AM Had to take the plunge yesterday after TN1 started messing about.
Have to say, trialing it with 6 tables now to make its setup and working right and I am very impressed. Was really expecting to hate it, the set up is a bit of a nightmare to work out the auto bet sizings and stuff, but now im sorted and its working it seems to be much better than the old one. It somehow feels more responsive to your actions. After an hour of use only, and 6 tables max, massive thumbs up from me. Will see how it gets on later with 20 tables. You been playing with it any more? Time to upgrade? Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: theprawnidentity on October 29, 2013, 08:03:49 PM DO NOT UPGRADE YET.

"As we announced over a year ago, we plan to stop releasing updates and providing support for TableNinja 1 (for PokerStars, Full Tilt and Party Poker) in order to focus on TableNinja 2. Current TN1 users can continue to use the product as long as they want, but no new features or bug fixes will be released after July 1st 2014." Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: Sulphur man on June 14, 2014, 10:21:07 AM Apologies for the derail here, thinking of going over to PokerTracker 4 as I still use Hem1 never bothered upgrading
for similar reasons to those discussed on here. Any advice would be warmly welcome. My house mate who predominantly plays Omaha said he really likes Pt4. Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: Steve Swift on September 27, 2014, 09:52:49 AM I think that I am going to have to get TN, I assume I can't get TN1? Is TN2 any better yet? I can always get the free months trial prior to spending out.
I really only want it to auto register 45 and 180 mans. I am finally starting to play a few more tables but find the distraction of loading more tables a pain. Have had a good look around and can't really find any alternatives, any ideas ? Steve Title: Re: Table Ninja 2 (Worth it yet?) Post by: MC on September 27, 2014, 09:54:31 AM TN2 is fine now
