Title: Football job Post by: LeedsRhodesy on July 03, 2013, 01:19:06 PM Just seen this on Gumtree, looks like a company is looking for people to collect football data from matches in the UK £50 a match plus tickets and petrol money The scout attends venues for the purpose of gathering statistics in real time - such as goals, corners and cards in football. This is all done by mobile phone - it can be done on any phone, and the inputs are basic and therefore easy to remember (e.g. 11 for home goal, 65 for away corner) The company is in need of scouts for football matches across the UK. They cover matches from the Premiership to the Evostik Northern Division One - eight tiers of English football, the reserve leagues, the top two Welsh leagues and the Northern Irish top flight and reserve games, and friendlies The pay is 50 euros per match (75 for pre-season friendlies) , plus expenses - trains, buses and the cost of the match ticket. Typically, you would be able to cover games within 60km of where you live, but often Sportsdata will need or allow you to travel further. If you are interested go to www.sportsdata.ag , click 'Application', 'Scout', fill in your details and select JT1989 as the supervisor in 'Additional Information' at the bottom. You will then have to read a document outlining how to do the job, and once you feel that you are ready you will be able to take an online test. If you pass you will be able to apply for games and start the job let me know if anyone does it, lots like its all the info that goes straight to the online betting world Title: Re: Football job Post by: dreenie on July 03, 2013, 01:36:33 PM Just applied for it, looks interesting, say's it will take up to 5 days to receive an email from them. Only thing I would be concerned about would be if it was a full time job or not. I couldn't imagine football matches being played every day.

Realistically you would be unlikely to get more than a couple of games a week and even then only if you were well located for football ie. Lancs, Midlands, London based. |
