Title: Flopped nut flush draw hand 2, $10/20 PLO Post by: wazz on July 08, 2013, 10:16:05 AM UTG opens to $60 (same french guy as hand 1 thread, good, loose, but not especially aggro post as tends to slowplay more than most), 1 caller, I call with As Qs Qd 7h, 2 callers behind.
Flop ($340): Ks 9s 3h Checked to me, I bet $300. LP raises to $900 with ~$600 left. UTG has ~ $4.5k left and raises to $2.2k. We? I think this information can be large factors to whether we 3b pre or flat.
Title: Re: Flopped nut flush draw hand 2, $10/20 PLO Post by: SuuPRlim on July 08, 2013, 12:00:00 PM I would never 3b pre-flop here in a live game, this is a terrific hand to go multi-way to the flop with, and a terrible hand to be getting too much money in pre-flop with in a 9 handed live game (spesh in vegas)
I think calling, and hoping LP jams, or folding are the best plays. If it's the guy I thinking off then i'd be very surprised if he didnt have KK here (obv a few combo's off KQJT/9 with spades etc) LP once raising to 900 if i know vegas games wont be folding very often so I'd be pretty tempted to call and hope he does also. Also it's kinda off imo that we c-bet this flop but check the flop back in the other thread, if you're checking one and betting another it's very clearly the other way round imo. I personally would bet both but the idea of checking back here is ok to me - deceptive when we make our flush, plus J's and T's should be great cards for us to bluff on (action dependent) Title: Re: Flopped nut flush draw hand 2, $10/20 PLO Post by: wazz on July 09, 2013, 03:00:56 AM We cover everyone.
If it was going to be a straight multiway all-in I'm snap-getting it in but the problem is that we're going for a $4.8k main pot and a $6k sidepot and with the action as is and the fact we've seen him slowplay sometimes, the big stack has KKK here tons of the time and I'm in terrible shape almost whatever LP has. Think flatting pre is by far best, we don't even dominate a raise-call range and we have no need to clean up outs and we're already in position vs two guys that are in the pot and we'd have to fold to a 4bet. If he had $4k I'd be calling, as people never folding after making it 900 there but when he's shallow like that he's way more likely to be blocking our outs. Title: Re: Flopped nut flush draw hand 2, $10/20 PLO Post by: GreekStein on July 15, 2013, 01:23:07 AM def folding now
