Title: Re: super tuesday vs gray Post by: Pinchop73 on July 17, 2013, 11:53:57 AM I mean I'd say a conventional 3b range in this spot (an MP 3b'ing a 26bb utg open) would be JJ+/AQs+ which we obv don't do particularly well against, but with utg dynamic, and having seen some of the stupid stuff Ramage has done in the past vs me I really don't think it can be that bad, verging on quite a nice spot.
Title: Re: super tuesday vs gray Post by: NigDawG on July 17, 2013, 05:10:34 PM i'd be surprised if gray was 3bet folding here with these stack sizes, but punisher is still probably opening too wide so gray will just be wider for value with the dynamic. i think 99 is going to be just about ok to shove here, given those assumptions.
would fold 88 and think AQs is really really close. Title: Re: super tuesday vs gray Post by: lucky_scrote on July 17, 2013, 09:17:10 PM I don't really care too much how that original hand panned out, I'd care more about how often punisher is raising first in and also how often he's opening in mid and early position. If these stats are high from punisher and grey has a few 3bet fold hands in his range here then I'm just gonna snap it in here. Not sure I agree with Bram that gray isn't 3bet folding much because 3betting punisher puts him in a coffin with these stacks.
